I recently purchased California heat jacket, liner pants gloves. If you're looking for a new jacket, I would go with California heat jacket. The liner and the paints and gloves are heated waterproof windproof. The paint and jacket or armored. If you do purchase these things, make sure you get the remote. And the harness that goes from the battery 2 very remote. I purchased mine from the heated 4 you store in Maryland. I rode there and met this people in person. They're very helpful. Family oriented family owned. Great people to deal with and your son-in-law. They call just Dave. Great people. California heat has lifetime warranty on all their products.
I wear a Klim Induction Jacket all year round, I do the various layers under it depending on the temps. For the cold temps I have a Heated Jacket Liner and a Wind Breaker / puffer type jacket. For the bottom... I wear Duluth Lined Pants with Bohn Armor Mesh Pants. This worked well for me all last winter here in New England. The only issue I have is my feet at times will get cold. I have new Forma Boots and picked up a pair of the heated soles but haven't tried them yet. We will see how it goes.
@@SpyderChrisYT In my opinion it is a game changer for cold weather. Some people go all in with heated Jacket Liner, Pants Liner and either Sock Liners or Sole Warmers. Check out Cycle Gears Line they are really good and go on sale often. Same with Gerbing, they are considered the OG of Heated Gear and also have sales quite often.
Chris what a beautiful story of my Spyder content. You made my morning, you know as a creator it’s so rewarding to help others through our videos. I will forward to my daughter thank you ride safe 😊
Hi Chris, always enjoy your videos. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and rides. I am still amazed by the beautiful areas you have shown. Maybe someday I will get to travel back east and see the area. Safe travels, and I'm looking forward to your next video.
I have a few jackets, but my favorite is a Revit that is light colored and has a good amount of mesh. I'll give you a link to it (or it's successor) here in a bit.
If you ride, what type of riding jacket do you wear, and why?

@ I’ve considered heated gear and will check them out. But for a riding jacket I’m looking for something that would also do well in Florida heat.

Nice video Chris, I enjoyed it, with the exception of the spoiler on “The Planet of The Apes”…😂😂😂
Funny! I’m still not sure why I mentioned The Planet of the Apes.
