Kevin Talbot I wish, my buddy was yapping on the phone with his wife, so he was the camera man that day, we had the GoPro on the monster slash but it wouldn’t stay on the rig, I was trying to mess with him n full throttled at his feet while he was arguing with wifey on phone still n he jumped over it n the rc hit the bike parked behind him, n knocked it over onto the beach, lol I’ll have to do it again n see if I get away with it, 😆

Naw c'mon, you should put a GE j58 turbo ramjet on it and do a speed test.... C'mon. Just do it. Then when you are done, I'll tell you my 2wd brushed slash is faster on nimh, and better built cause my mom bought me an rpm wheelie bar, and it's way better than your xmaxx. Oh and better than your UDR!

Kev I see you have Proline badlands on your Xmax. You think they would be any good on a slash 4x4? Also awesome. Vid too really enjoyed It.
Yes, badlands are the best tire I've ever run on a slash. Only bad thing is if you run on pavement a lot they wear out faster. They're great on other stuff!
replace the foams in the prolines to make them lighter you wont regret it

I have the same set up on mine and I’ve never had a drive line issue mine is all stock except for the 3800kv mamba x combo.
I would love to own an x maxx it's just there way to expensive for me as I spent my money on a expensive toy grade rc when I could've brought an rc like your ones! Anyway great video I wait everyday afterschool to watch your vids it might seem weird for an rc video but you inspire me! Thanks is you read all the way!

Nope. Absolutely no need for low gear and it falls over plenty with open diffs.
