With your 4ws Scx24, take the springs off the shocks or run stock springs on the upgraded shock body, chassis mount the shocks and use limiting straps. That will help to lower the cg and help with articulation as well as improve all round performance. I did this on my 4 wheels stear Scx24 and it made a world of difference

i've had pretty good results with the DJI wireless microphones, they include an iphone and USB C adaptor, as well as the classic aux connector for the GoPro hero 11 with the media mod. very crispy audio, and that's coming from someone who has no idea what he's doing!
I have done an scx 24 fpv camera, i built a mount out of chopsticks and hot glue so the camera was a 3rd person view. Made the crawling less capable but it felt exactly like a video game

IDK , CCxRC has a pretty decent indoor park and Cape Crawlers has a real legitimate pro setup in his basement. Heck Exocaged gotta whole RC adventure park in his backyard. RC Girl showed a pretty awesome Crawler super mega land in Oregon. Just saying

@kevintalbotrc the usb c adapters can be different depending on brand. I remember having to use huawei
Get you the Dji mic. They have adapters for iPhones. Both lightning and usb c. You can record your videos like normal on your phone with the adapter plugged in and use up to two microphones simultaneously. I use them all the time.
i have a fcx24 that seems to be pretty good, stock with portals and 2 speed transmission.
Keep doing the mini rock crawler testing there so satisfying

Good stuff Kev. That thing about the spiders is wrong, they can penetrate the skin and the venom has minimal effect on people. We have those spiders here in Aust too. We call them daddy long legs.
I have a similar camera/goggles set up on my Hornet. It's lots of fun.
Get the dji mic it will work for you very well. Also it can connect to your phone

That’s for the charger port itself to be plugged into a type C charger plug with the iPhones because I have the iPhone 14+ it still uses the old charger wire plugs in the headphones

You're not there yet Kev but definitely getting there. You need MoFo, Hardpark, LGRP, 3flow9, Mazz designs, Akers, JEC engineering and then you will be laughing at your current rigs. The smaller USA companies are where its at for performance. MERICA🎉

Kevin! I did post on an older video before when you asked. The DJI Mic (1 TX + 1 RX), Wireless Lavalier Microphones are great for the iPhone.
Can you get the gain low enough?
Sorry! for a late reply. Yes you can easily adjust the gain on the RX touch screen It'll go Up & Down. It's got a good set of settings & anything you adjust on the RX the phone sees those adjustments pretty much instant. Edit: RC to RX ha-ha.

Kevin I'm commenting here because it's your newest video. If your building a tamiya kit use the tamiya 8 pc tool. Kit. Tamiya screws are not true Phillips there japanese industrial standard thats why your pushing on the screws
Kev have you ever thought about adding lead or bismuth powder to Inside of the tyre to add even more weight low down? I was thinking of how deadhammers work
I can't wait for this 1/24 scale fad to pass. Part of the fun is the simulation of realism. The smaller they get, the more bouncy and toylike they act.
