- Join us in this exciting project where we create a fully functional RC plane using 3D printing and recycled PET bottles! This innovative build not only showcases the potential of PET filament but also demonstrates how everyday materials can be repurposed into high-performance creations. Follow along as we design, print, assemble, and test-fly our eco-friendly aircraft, highlighting the process step-by-step. Whether you're a hobbyist, a sustainability enthusiast, or simply curious about the capabilities of 3D printing, this video offers inspiration and insights into a unique blend of technology and environmental consciousness.

You've got some of the cleanest rPET prints I've seen on TH-cam. Nice project. PET is rather heavy (dense) for this at 1.38 g/cm³, a lot more than other printable materials, but it's also way tougher especially the layer bond strength.
I found one of the tail fins to this snaped in half and covered it dirt in my friends yard a few weeks ago.
You are doing really good things. Congratulations.
Hi. Nice plane. What motor and blade do you use?
1400 kv bldc 8 inch prop
simply amazing
THANKS
@@M.SKhan123 did it fly and how does it go?
Great 👍
Thank you 👍
So good❤😮😮😮
what kind of electronics are you using because I am considering building one myself.
you need 4 servos(90 g) 30 amp ESC 1400 kv BLDC battery i used 2200 mah
how much does the plane weigh?
PET is slightly heavier than other materials, around 350 grams without electronics.
What motor do you use? How do you connect the rudder? I’d like to make one!
I used 1400kv BLDC motor. For Rudder, I used servo which are inside of the plane connected by wire (steel/copper). I will also make another video, hopefully, a test flight and electronics.
Nice
whats your print settings for RPET?
This is slicer settings for this model
2 LAYERS TOP BOTTOM
1 PARAMETER
260 DEG TEMP NOZEL
60 DEG BED TEMP
80 T0 120 MM PRINT SPEED
NO INFILL
SPIRAL MODE
0.2 LAYER HEIGHT
NO RETRACTION
@@M.SKhan123 only in this, o you never used retraction ?, i have a ender 3 pro and i dont know why the layer adhesion is terrible
@@carolinamariaduquemejia6981 No retration for this model only otherwise 1 mm to 1.5 mm retraction distance 70 mm retraction speed or more. Some mods have to be made in hotend for good results.
@@M.SKhan123 need help, when slicing with your setting i can see bottom layers but the top layer is not being printed , idk why
It is because of the Vase mode, we do. You don't need any top layer.

NOW I AM YOUR FOLLOWER TOO THANKS FOR THE COMMENTS.
