never would i have thought that people who loved Joker would like Parasite. from what i've seen, there were so many Joker fans not really liking Parasite
Tarantino is an overrated and his films have become a chore to get through. Also, the Lighthouse is one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Defoe was excellent, but everything outside of that was unwatchable.

If you love Korean thrillers watch another Bong’s masterpiece ‘Memories of murder’. It’s one of the best foreign films and films in general I’ve ever watched.

Matt L I don’t really consider it recent. It is however the only other Hollywood racing movie I can think of, so in a relative sense, it must be considered recent. Racing movies aren’t really an incredibly popular sub genre. That being said, the idea of comparing and arguing between such few picks seems kind of pointless, doesn’t it?

I had comfortable recliner seats when I saw The Irishman at the movies. Didn't need to get up to go to the bathroom and I didn't fall asleep/nod out. However, that final hour, I got so gassy that my insides were playing a symphony during that quiet final act. I was too embarassed to get up and I also didn't want to miss a thing. Thoroughly embarassed but I figured this isn't one of my regular movie theaters, hopefully I'll never see these people again.

The last great year of cinema. Can I have a time machine please? it's not the same as it once was. I long for the days of films like The Lighthouse, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Joker, Parasite, Ford v Ferrari, Doctor Sleep, 1917 and Uncut Gems, a lot of which are some of my favorites of all time. Oh well, at least we are getting a Joker sequel this year, Eggers Nosferatu, and eventually, most likely Tarantino's last movie.

I had comfortable recliner seats when I saw The Irishman at the movies. Didn't need to get up to go to the bathroom and I didn't fall asleep/nod out. However, that final hour, I got so gassy that my insides were playing a symphony during that quiet final act. I was too embarassed to get up and I also didn't want to miss a thing. Thoroughly embarassed but I figured this isn't one of my regular movie theaters, hopefully I'll never see these people again.

The last great year of cinema. Can I have a time machine please? it's not the same as it once was. I long for the days of films like The Lighthouse, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Joker, Parasite, Ford v Ferrari, Doctor Sleep, 1917 and Uncut Gems, a lot of which are some of my favorites of all time. Oh well, at least we are getting a Joker sequel this year, Eggers Nosferatu, and eventually, most likely Tarantino's last movie.
