    Just watched your Taylormade driver and TPx ball review videos. I’ve subscribed because your swing speeds and distances are very similar to mine and your reviews are therefore relevant to me. I’m an amateur male golfer of 55 years, less than 10 stone and WHS 6.7. I won’t ever be able to hit with the numbers like the PGA instructors do - so I can take their instruction with your equipment reviews and hopefully become the best golfer I can be…thanks keep the content coming.

    Enjoyable video, endorse buying rather then Gym ing. Possible explanation for the skeptics, the old ball was 98 compression, the new one 71. Perhaps the old one was just not that efficient for Hanna. So we had an accumulation of undoing an inefficient ball plus new material gain. The guy did say it was the biggest gain of the day. Either way I enjoyed it a lot.

    Awesome video! Glad you did a golf ball review! I see in the comments that more golf ball reviews are coming. Sweet. I'm at the point now where I'm starting to discern "small" things like which ball I should use. I did the full bag fitting in the fall of 2021 and took lessons last year. I'm sort of at a plateau and am looking at things that can help with consistency and improvement. Probably finding "my golf ball" is something that is long overdue. I typically play whatever is on sale or what has been gifted to me. I can feel the cringe of those reading this post that know better. I'm sorry 😔, but I'm getting there now. Hannah, I'm definitely looking forward to expanding my golf ball education. I don't suppose you plan on including affordable offerings in your analysis as well? Similar to the variety of offerings manufacturers produce for different levels of golfer? (Max vs low spin, etc). Thanks!

    Interesting.
    I use TP5x when I play in hot climates, Spain in particular, find performance better than ProV1, but, I still use ProV1 in UK.
    I’m not sure for my 10 handicap, and swing speed, I’d get the gains you did. Good test, but I’ll stick with my old TP5x next week in Espana.

    IF this is true, it is the greatest argument for rolling back the golf ball I have ever seen. Driver distance is at its limit, which is why everyone is now talking forgiveness (10k etc), but the ball, that flies forever….

    Caiton, £6.00 per dozen on offer, RRP £24 per dozen, various channels have tested them against all the major brands including TP5, they were as good in spin, distance and flight. My club pro gamed them for a months, he was amazed and is now a convert. I couldn’t believe how good they are, Chinese copy? Possibly, but they do work

    Hannah, love your videos but cooler heads need to prevail. We did this test with the new TP5 and simply didn't see any increase whatsoever over the current gamer (BridgestoneTour B XS) and last years TP5. We saw absolutely NO ball speed increases, let alone 7mph+ from an iron. TXG did this same test and the speeds of the '24 TP5x were comparable to to rest of the contenders (ProV1x and ChormeSoft Tour X). By the way, what he is saying about the 2024 TP5x being softer is absurd. It's the firmest clickiest ball I've ever hit from both putter and driver - and TXG agreed in their testing - (it's a rock). Hopefully you mic your videos differently in the future - your clothes mask much (not all) of the sound in your tests.

    • @upnorth8265
      @upnorth8265 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      The Club Champion test you are referring to tested the Chrome Tour ball against the TP5X and ProV1x instead of the Chrome Tour X, which didn't make any sense.

    • @Station2Station-du2gh
      @Station2Station-du2gh 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@upnorth8265 Mostly I'm talking about my own testing - but echoing their thoughts on the TP5x being an extremely clicky ball. TM telling anyone they are getting 7mph added ball speed on a refreshed ball is fairly ludicrous - especially with an iron. And I play TM product so no shade on the company as a whole.

    • @nationalclubgolfer
      @nationalclubgolfer  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +18

      Hello 👋🏼 I can only show you what my experience was when testing! The trackman data doesn’t generally lie in my experience. Obviously everyone will get different data depending on their swing and the fitter did say that I was an outlier and showed much more improvements than the general player. I will be doing later videos with more comparisons but this is just my initial findings. 🤷🏼‍♀️

    • @sumitagg1
      @sumitagg1 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      In these tests, you should hit the new product before the old or hit another 5 old balls. Your swing had warmed up when you hit the new ball. I guarantee you had better strike on the new balls. That’s the only way to explain the difference.

    • @nationalclubgolfer
      @nationalclubgolfer  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      I’ve never heard of a club manufacturer come out with a new product and say “last years was a little better.” How is TM any different than Callaway, Cobra, Mizuno etc. that releases new product every year? Titleist and Ping are mostly every two year product release cycles, but most of the rest are all the same.
