Hi Satoshi and Shinichi!! Thank you for braving the inclimate weather to show us parts of a beautiful city!! Please keep warm and dry!! I don't want either of you to get sick again!! Thanks again!! I ENJOY all of your videos because I'll never get to travel to Japan in this lifetime because of my health and old age...but I get to enjoy seeing beautiful and interesting Japan through your videos!! Thanks a million!! Take care and stay warm and safe !! 😉👌😅
Loved the opening conversation: Shin1(in Japanese): “we are going to walk to midtown” Satoshi: “oh it’s rongu way” Shin1: “ no it’s not a long way, or did you say the wrong way?” It was so cute 😂 sometimes have these kind of misunderstandings with my kaatchan 😊❤ first time commenting by the way, big fan of your videos. Visiting Japan in two weeks for the first time again after five years! 5年が長かった😭 greetings from the Netherlands!
Thank you again for your tours of Japan. You bring delight to my home. My mom has foot pain and stiffness and I'm stuck in the house all day. Your tour channel guides us to inspiring details about your culture.
Hi Shinichi and Satoshi from Troy and me!!!! Thank you for braving yhe weather to show us this beautiful area. Troy's quote for that apartment building is "are they crazy? You can use that money to buy a house".
I once did a project in university about the Galleria mall you visited on the influence of Shinto with the use of plants and wood. Thank you for showing us beautiful Roppongi!
Wow..that’s my favourite area! My friend happens to live in that brown building. Her apartment is gorgeous! Love that square. I can’t wait to hang around in Tokyo again, visit all the fine restaurants, izakayas and bars!! 😊
Around @10:00 on the opposite side of that road I loved the glass art style chairs wonder if there still there was cool!!! @11:12 yes shinichi it’s such a cool book store 2 levels very nice agreed!!! Nice city walk guys!!! 🏃🏼♂️👍🏻
Hi Shinichi. Great walk around Roppongi. Enjoyed seeing the different places to see and eat and listening to your stories. Wasn’t expecting you guys on a Sunday evening here in UK so it was a nice surprise . Thanks for a lovely video guys you’ve helped take my mind off the Monday morning blues 😂have a great week 👍😀
I really enjoyed your video! It was so nice to see Roppongi- it was where I worked in my younger days when I lived in Tokyo. Looking forward to returning next year. Thank you for sharing your lovely city with us 🌸😊🌸
Thank you for taking us for a walk, despite the rain and wind, Shinichi and Satoshi. 😊Roppongi looks lovely--very much like the high-end areas of other major cities. I enjoy visiting such areas for window shopping and clubbing, but mostly wouldn't want to live there. Too expensive and "fancy." I would, however, have gone to the discos with you back in the day, Shinichi. I miss the dancing and general craziness of the huge, fabulous gay clubs/dance bars of NYC, Baltimore, and DC.💃🕺🎉🏳🌈 Love you both. ❤❤
Thank you for braving the weather! Looks like a fun area to explore. Would love to see the Japanese garden sometime! Hope the weather has improved now! 🌞
Thank you for the video Shinichi! I love wandering around with you and Satoshi. In answer to your question, no I do not feel I could live in Roppongi, visit yes, live no. I hope you both are having fun, enjoying awesome food and hopefully getting to have family visit now the boarders are opening.
Shinichi - I love your perspective of things. I would never feel totally comfortable in such a fancy part of town. You teach me a lot about these places and I can understand the fancy life a bit better! You guys are looking great. I hope you have a fun winter planned for yourselves. I can’t wait to see more Satoshi skiing and frolicking in the snow!
Thank you again for your informative videos of lovely Japan. I wouldn’t like to live in that very high building especially when earthquakes are very frequent and too from earth. ❤
There were gorgeous Christmas lights among street nearby Roppongi Hills. I took a night time bus tour which took famous locations of Christmas lights around Tokyo including Roppongi. It was so amazing. I hope you two will have a chance to join in the bus tour.
hi guys i just waned to say how much that i enjoy your videos and content that you do on all your pages thank you so much for making it interesting and enjoyable
I have been to Roppongi once or twice but I think that was almost 20 years ago. It's has some nice spots but it's not my favourite area in Tokyo and it's relative far from where i usually stay. I wouldn't want to live there, not only because it's expensive but I just love the quiet of the suburbs. And if I would want to go to a high end store I would go to Ginza. But it's fun to watch a walk like this since i don't know the area well.
Always fun watching your tour videos! Feels like I'm actually there! I'll be visiting Tokyo for the first time in about 6 months and can't wait to walk around! I'm wondering if many of those shops have closed and there are less people walking around in Roppongi because they are working from home (not sure if this is happening in Japan).
I think there are less people in Roppongi due to there being less tourists. There are also less people as it was raining. Having said that, Roppongi was never very crowded during the day as it’s mostly a night time place.
So I had to look it up 😁. The Ritz Carlton costs between ¥80,000 - ¥125,000 depending when you go (weekends/on season are obviously more expensive). All things considered, I think it's a decent price. If I ever win the lottery, I'd love to stay there 😆. Though I don't think I'd like to live in the ¥1,000,000 Roppongi apartments.
Why are you out during a typhoon time??? I do love your tours. And I do truly love your enthusiasm for the city. It is truly beautiful. Thank you for sharing your life with us who are so far away. (Wisconsin, USA). And I would never want to live in the "high rent: areas---there is NO personality there! I am into quality--not names.
if money were NOT an option then yes i would love to live in a place where I could walk around at. It reminds me of my shopping district only mines a bit more affordable. I have to look into it again but i still dont have the money to live on my own yet, and it stinks so hard. ¨A modern kemono¨ huh that hurts my brain. I still have yet to read up on my japanese history but i do love my japanese history though. I would rather attend Japanese history then American history, its strange.
This is definitely not the kind of place why I would want to come to Japan for. I'll take the back streets in an old Tokyo neighbourhood over this any way. Too posh for my taste. And there's nothing really typically Japanese anywhere! I was just wondering, toward the end, what is that Waa Waa Waa Waa sound you heard? Was that an animal crying or something?
I enjoy all the beautiful parks, shrines, Trees, Japanese art etc.

Nice city walk guys!!! 🏃🏼♂️👍🏻
Enjoying your walk through Roppongi. Yes, sadly all over the world, many shop closures because of the pandemic.
I’ve been there once but only at night. Went to Hard Rock Cafe and some random bar, lol

Your walk reminds me of the trip to Tokyo 6 years ago when we stayed here for 10 days. Great to see this area again. Thank you!

@Shinichi’s World Satoshi, Discos are bars where one can go dancing to music!😄
Ever been to "Lilla Dalarna" in Roppongi and tried some swedish food?
Thanks Shinichi, you reminded me of Dcaf coffee! Like yourself I cant drink regular/flavoured coffee, which I guess is the caffeine?
Been a long time since I visited Ropponghills as I prefer the Tokyo Midtown complex nearby.

Thanks guys for another nice walking tour!! My friends love these walks.
I personally love Roppongi area
I love name brand things because they are made very well but it doesn’t bother me to have cheaper things, because saving money is a great thing 😂
Awesome job bro.

Great walkathon ❤ Is Almond/ アモンド still there at the Roppingi Kosaten???

This is the only place besides Kabukichō where I can go to movie theater.
Очень нравятся ваши прогулки. Привет из Москвы. Унас тоже дожи идут.
Hi Tabi Eats
Falafel brothers is really nice, then again it was the only place in Japan I could find that had falafel ^^V
Aloha 🌺
@17:47 do you see the blue sign? That's the place to take Satoshi out 🍺
Zero interest in high end international brands! Glad you asked; I enjoy your work very much.

We had a meeting we had to attend and the typhoon had just passed. We were still getting the wind though
@@Shinichisworld Okay. I was worried. Love you two!!
Here we r still in summer weather. Global warming😊
@Shinichi’s World To live in Roppongi, I need a lot of money!
I know how to a dance a Japanese Bon Dance
I love brand name goods. :)
Trying to watch movies with subtitles drives me nuts.
I do not have 10,000$ per month to spend..I can only visit Roppongi for fun
Visiting for fun is good too!!
if money were NOT an option then yes i would love to live in a place where I could walk around at. It reminds me of my shopping district only mines a bit more affordable. I have to look into it again but i still dont have the money to live on my own yet, and it stinks so hard.

why soooo many flickering lights ?
I think it depends on how the camera is recording. The flickering might only be seen when on camera, not in real life..
I see Roppongi, I think DDR. I am so messed up.
Not me I'm not into brand names it's not worth my money 💰 like to travel 🧳 more see beautiful places 🙂
I wouldn't mind living there, but I wouldn't want to pay for it.
This is definitely not the kind of place why I would want to come to Japan for. I'll take the back streets in an old Tokyo neighbourhood over this any way. Too posh for my taste. And there's nothing really typically Japanese anywhere!

no way will I pay $10,000 a month for a place to live.
