You're dear to me, Shinichi. I admire you for many reasons, and not least for the growth I've seen in you over the years. You're a mindful person who not only recognizes your strengths and weaknesses but also works hard to make changes for the better. You're kind and grateful. Thank you for sharing your life so honestly.
Also, thank you for this wonderful walk down side streets I'd probably never see even if I made it to Tokyo. I hope you got home, cooled off, relaxed, and had a delicious dinner with Satoshi. 😊 Please give him a hug from me.

Thanks for the trip through Nakano. My grandparents old-style house (now modernized apartments) was there, and I remember always playing in the neighborhood every summer. I’m surprised by seeing the Nakano Center, as nothing so modern was there back then.

I feel like Japan takes care of the people w such great transportation systems! It's amazing how little the homes are there, but it works and most Japanese are small in stature so they don't mind a tiny home. We want to live in Japan, somewhere in the countryside! Wish us good luck in making our dreams come true!

I love this Shinichi!!! I used to live in Nakano some 20 plus years ago. I don't even recognize it now. I even went to the tiny gym downstairs in Sun Plaza!! It's funny because my friend got a membership too their and we would work out, then cross the street to the Lotteria (I think or some other fast-food restaurant) then pig out!! 😝 I am amazed at how different if looks though! I hope to take my daughter there next year to show her where I used to live. Fingers crossed that Japan will fully open for free roam!! Until then, thank you for taking me back to Nakano!

Thank you for showing me your neighborhod! My favorite neighborhood in Tokyo is curently Kinshicho.
Nice walks into Ryogoku and Kameido from there, a great canal walk from there to Skytree, and LOTS of supermarkets and older buildings. Thanks for all you do!

This clip shows me a quiet corner of Tokyo that takes me by surprise. I'm sure there are many quiet neighborhoods like this in hustling and bustling Tokyo. Some have to need this tranquillity after 8+ grinding hours in the busiest areas of the city.
Now I understand why some Japanese men and women decided to move and live in Hanoi Vietnam. They love it there even though they have to sacrifice a big chunk of their salary. Hanoi is an old city but is now blended with modernity. The old charm and modern conveniences, especially the outgoing attitude of the Hanoiese create an irresistible allure to many foreigners who settled in VN.
We will get used to new things and they will become endearing to us.

I love how cluttered and unorganised those neighbourhoods look in Japan, it’s totally different from how they look here in holland. I always like to have a stroll in tokyo and simply look at the small houses, shops, electrical cables potted plant gardens. It feels cozy, safe and nostalgic in a way.

I am waiting for your video in Hawaii. I hope that you can also go driving around and take some scenery videos because there are lots of places which are very beautiful even to include the other islands. I know you have limited time but I hope that you make worthwhile because Hawaii and say Honolulu and the whole island of Oahu is beautiful, to also mention Maui the island and is hard to not mentioned so many places that are there. There is also a new town or city which I did not see because it was constructed after I left the Oahu. It is where Eva town used to be. My friend lives there and not only him, I still have many many friends that still live there and some are there cause they decided to stay there and something that I also thought about for so long because I didnt wanted to leave. Hawaii is very very beautiful. You will find many many nice and friendly good hearted people, interesting and which will invite you to their house and present you to their families and lots more. Once you meet them they are your friends to keep because how they are. God bless them. Ohana you'll find! Hahahahaha!!! Hospitality! Go to the Luau´s, something you can't miss. Pali Pali look out by Kaneohe, go take some views and by the National cemetery you can see Honolulu from the top of the Volcano; something that you have to show. Believe me Bro! OK? Have a great time. I wish I was there to go with you. I'm not from Hawaii but I used to be a contractor after out of the service. Hahaha!
Thanks for the video again, Bro. God bless You! Aloha Dude.

Called Amezaiku…apparently there are two places in Tokyo? They have 16 million plus views! So it could be a real boost for your channels…it was really interesting to watch…Regards. Laurie

I've also been to Hawaii and really felt comforted by the Japanese influence on Honolulu. I'm glad your mother is doing very well also!

P.S. What I love in Japan is that there are NO THIEVES OR LOOTERS! People can leave their stuff outside, their cars, houses unlocked and nobody will come in and intentionally steal something. I've lived with my employers in Toyoshina Machi and Matsumoto City, Naganoken and Nagoya as well, and I really loved the people's genuine kindness, warmth and honesty.
