like napalmstrike235 said, a cat leap and a kong/monkey vault are two completely different things. Cat pass is the same though. A cat leap is where you jump (usually over a gap) and have your feet make contact with the wall while your hands grab the top of the wall. From there you can muscle up and get on top of the obstacle. Hope this is helpful.

Ronnie made it really easy to understand and within the first time after watching this video I actually did this! On impact I tried to safety roll, but I banged my knee on my head, so I still have a lot to work on! Just wanted to thank Ronnie for so many awesome tutorials!! - Me

Just an idea, but for some of the basic or building block moves that you will be instructing, you might consider a prefix title like, "Key Moves: the Kong/Monkey vault..." or something like that. This video inspired me to start learning parkour and when I started to try this vault I was scared so I started practising on smaller ledges and my friend also taught me because he is very good at parkour and I finally gob the kong vault

Hi, I have tried to do the kong vault for months but I just can't get it. I did what you suggested in the video with a stick to mark the point where I need to jump and stretch my body but every single time, I hit my knees on the obstacle and it's hurt as hell. I think the reason is I put my hand on the obstacle before actually jumping and I don't stretch my whole body. Do you know any kind of excercises that I can do at home to improve the mouvement? My knees refuse to continue kissing the table :( Thanks in advance!
