All in one, Wood stove, Grill & Fireplace DIY is the name of this film. The name comes from when I made an All in one solution. I got the idea because I both hike in the mountains and hike below the tree line a lot and don't want to damage nature more than necessary. At first I wanted to build a portable fireplace, but this way I got both a stove and a grill in the bargain. It is light and weighs just under 500 grams (496 grams)
So it is a very light (ultra-light) solution for all the features it provides. In retrospect, I would have probably changed the aluminum plate underneath to a stainless steel one. As stainless conducts heat worse, the lower plate that protects the ground (glass fiber fabric epoxy plate) would probably not be as burnt as it was. Doesn't feel like any major danger as it happened over a long period of time. Now that I've run the wood-burning stove probably around thirty times, it still looks roughly the same as in the video.
I probably wouldn't have used "press threads" either, but instead just drilled and threaded.
