I love outdoor life, mountain hiking, hiking trails, etc. Equipment for mountain hiking is something I'm really passionate about.
The burner is an FMS-300 Titanium Stove, gas burner, STD.

I needed a very light little gas stove for mountain hiking and hiking trails. I used the fire maple FMS-300 burner, it is quite similar to the cheaper BRS-3000T.
which is one of the smallest and lightest gas cookers on the market, it also takes up very little space in the backpack. I arrived at that kitchen after reading reviews and best in test gas burners.
It needed to be smaller and lighter than e.g. Jetboil, Primus lite stove, fire maple star and primus lite + etc.
I often build my own gear for hiking.
I was going on a mountain hike in the five-hundred-marka area, it is by the Idre at the height of Grövelsjön. When my gas stove was heavy
and I had operated on my shoulder, so I decided to build my own ultralight kitchen. A gas kitchen that was both light and took up little space.
I started from an aluminum liter measure that I found at a flea market.
It had the same shape as the typical Toaks and Evernew and snow peak titanium vessels.
The gas tube of 100 grams was precisely placed on the bank, above that I also got an aluminum spoon and coffee cup, the lighter, wind protection for the kitchen and powdered coffee for a week.
Everything was very easy and took up little space. A really ultra-light kitchen. The wind shield in thin aluminum weighs in at 22 grams.
The biggest challenge in building your own aluminum kitchen is soldering aluminum.
I found a good guide on how to solder aluminum in a good, simple and cheap way.
I soldered with a sacrificial anode (zinc anode) that I bought at a car theme for a fifty. I cut it up into parts, then I melted the pieces and then cut them up with sheet metal scissors.
I then added the zinc to the aluminum while heating the goods with a gas burner. At the same time, I scrape the surface with a stainless tool to scrape the oxides during soldering. Then it wets together very well, the joint then becomes stronger than the aluminium. I'm linking to the page I learned to solder aluminum through:

Snyggt! 1 liters kastrull med lock och vindskydd 133g ! 😮 dessutom nestar perfekt med gastub, brännare, kopp, sked, tändare och allt. Måste vara något slags rekord alltså. 😅 impressive!

Det är jättekul att se dina lösningar på olika saker. Det där vindskyddet kan man ju lätt göra till alla möjliga slags grytor av aluminium/titan osv. Väldigt smart lösning.
