Cancer is basically cells, that split indefinitely (they are also "undead" - they don't die) it can't be cured, because the curation would be too slow, and the disease would just move over and split more. There's no such thing as a cure for cancer.
In future there probably may be a thing which stops the cancer cells from spreading by freezing them (or something else) that would mean that the disease would be "cured" (cells would still be there, but couldn't spread, which means, that they would no longer make healthy cells die).

I agree think about it wouldn't all ur friends and kids get suspicious if you outlived them? You would have to be alone for life switching your identity every 80 years or so and if an astroid hit the Earth would you just be floating around in space forever feeling constant pain but not actually dying? I think I already have spider sense to an extent, I was walking up the stairs and I stubbed my toe and I got this jolt of pain not just in my foot, but in my whole body, so it's just a little too late but still pretty cool.
