I hope you are ok after the Earthquake. Be kind to yourselves. I have been through many shakes having lived in New Zealand but I know how scary your first experience can be. Expect aftershocks and do not be surprised to find it affects you both mentally and even physically (I experience motion sickness after tremors) . Give what you can afford to a local charity. Those poor villagers will need all the support they can get.

I’ve been to four places in Morocco, my view is:
Marrakesh: the souk is amazing, also some beautiful riads to stay in, the more your budget, the better.
Food, I didn’t have a great experience.
Essaouira: Port town, very friendly, some lovely accommodation available at great rates, the food was genuinely good, research required for the best food, but not a rip off place….
The Atlas Mountains: for me, amazing, many beautiful villages, very scenic, great food and lovely people, true Morocco maybe?
It’s a country well worth a visit, like The Dridgers I would suggest to move around and experience as much as you can.

Marrakech et Rabat il y a pas grand-chose à visiter c'est surtout la ville de Fès qui a visité avec Meknès tu vois les artisans travailler direct tu vois la naissance du Maroc Idris Ier tu peux visiter la plus grande ancienne ville du monde tu peux visiter les ateliers le zellige par exemple les ateliers du cuir et bien d'autres choses que personne ne connaît
