SWAY! It is literally the answer to everything... not lying... You can drain 75% of the health bar if you SWAY and hit confirm a second time. Add a quick grab in the mix up and you are at 75%.
I've been trying to do the combo at 1:30 but theres a few spots where the combo sometimes drops and I'm not sure why. Between the first qcf.hp and the c.hp sometimes the c.hp gets blocked. Any ideas as to why this is happening?
Hey, hope all is well! Are you doing a drive rush cr.hp as a punishment counter to start the combo? If so and that link is still being blocked after the OD Powerwave you just have to push cr.hp a bit faster. Basically rule of thumb is if the opponent blocks the button was pressed too slow and if no move comes out at all the button was pushed too fast. It’s corner only btw
@@SinghReviewingThings Thanks for the quick reply! I've been doing drive rush into hp to start the combo. So dr.hp > qcf.hp > c.hp > qcf.mp+hp. I think what might be happening is I have a bad habit of mashing the crouching heavy punch to try and make sure the move comes out, but it seems like that actually causes some timing issues where it may end up blocked.
Unfortunately no, I wish there was lol. You just have to do a VERY slight delay before inputting the DP. It does have a distinct feel to it though rhythm wise. Thankfully though if you miss the DP you're still completely safe on your opponents wake up.
If you want the logistical thing. You want to wait a typical charge time. So about .45 sec orrrrrr.... Personally you can see when he hits and then goes forward slightly more that's the hit you cancel.

I know man it’s so awkward lol. What helped me was treating it liking a rhythm beat. I play on leverless so I’d do the power charge then hands completely off for a fraction of a second then do the DP motion. I know it’s hard to explain lol but this way my hands are doing consistent movements like I’m playing an instrument.

This was really good! I had noticed the same thing about top Terrys using the target combo, but this helped complete the thought on why it's strong.

Is there some trick to the heavy dp after heavy charge? I can only get the others to connect
