YES MATE FULL OIL SERVICE AND FILTER ALL AIR AND POLLEN FILTERS NEW NGK PLUGS NEW TYRES ALL ROUND ITS GOOD TO GO JUST COULDNT GET RID OF THAT SERVICE INDICATOR BUT NOW ITS BRILLIANT THANK YOU AGAIN ALL THE BEST

What happens if u reset the ecu do?
It will automatically fix the issues and delete errors, or it will. Bring everything to the factory settings and your car will not work properly?

What is that square clock icon above the interval @ 1:10? It suddenly appeared in my car and wasnt there before.
At the beginning of the video, u said turn the car off. To begin this reset process with first step of holding button, is key: A)inside ignition? or B)just waiting to be put in, then go straight to position 1 after the button is pressed ?

how do i get rid of the engine light? i lost my gas cap and drove without the gas cap for about week until a new one arrived, so the engine light came on.

Cool, but this is now how you do it on a 98-99. You need to sort pins 7 and 19 on the obd connector in the engine bay with something like a paper clip 👍

I have a 2001 BMW 325I, when I do that, it will say "End" but the " service engine soon" light stays on. And has been on for long time. Also, I realized that rubber ring around "fuel gas cap" isn't good. Is this my problem? Can anybody please help, bcuz I have to get ca smog.
1.Replace gas cap clear code, drive
2. Try mass air flow cleaner clear code, drive
3 clean both co2 sensors, m.a.s cleaner works clear code, drive
4 scan at free auto parts store for codes
5. Note catalog converter if it has a ton of miles. Not likely though.
Also look for loose connection with m.a.s (above). There is one more I can't think of at the moment.

It might be the sensor under the passenger seat. Have a look online on E46 airbag light on ;)

Bingo!! Thank you for clarifying. Watched multiple videos and none of them was working. Everyone was saying to hold the last time but that fails. Just release when reset flashes and press ONCE and voila rest complete.
Didnt work and now wont get back to the reset button only shows test then end

I had that problem also,you must then,when test start blink,you must hold the button,not only to press it!
I have tried this on my BMW 316i e46 from 1999, it comes to RESET, but not blinking on second push and goes back to normal display !
Did you set the car key to position 1?
@@Ryaniwk I just fixed by cable. connected position 7 with carebody while switch was on position 2 and 2 second later, it was rested to 25000 km :-) thanks. I guess it is because my BMW 316i e46 is from 1999, below 2000 :-)
