Finally!!! First vloggers I’ve seen who tried the unripe mango and fermented shrimp paste. I remember that used to be the best and cheapest snack we had when I was a kid. It is quite addicting as you said. Good on ya for trying that.

Jollibee is all about their chicken. Going there and not trying their chicken joy is like going to an Italian resto and ordering burgers.

I've seen a lot but you two knows what you are doing. you researched before you dig in, like the halo halo and what you should do with the filipino food before you put it in your mouth! other vloggers just don't bother getting info before hand and are doing it wrong. no dull moments also, just direct to the point! congrats and one new subbie here!

I appreciate how you put so much effort on making your Philippine vlog. I can see you had your research. It's nice to have your vlogs for middle class tourist. Obviously, you tried all the locals but in all fancier setting which mostly tourist going to the Philippines can afford. Unlike, other vloggers coming to the Philippines who tries so hard to immerse themselves to the local community, this is something fresh for viewers around the world to experience with all convenience some of the local stuff of the Philippines. Keep it up and let us know your group with, for sure viewers like me are always curious with people who you travel with.

Philippines is the best place for a foreigner youtubers to get mass subscribers. Filipinos loves compliments and they're always fascinated about caucasian's reactions about our culture. Trust me, if you say nice stuff to Filipinos, the whole 104 millions population will subscribe to your channel by the end of the year. DOn't forget to always type" Filipino" in the title. Also, I'm pretty sure MOA, the area you were flying your drone was close to the airport and it's illegal. It will just take one jerk person to report you and you'll get a hefty fine.

Now that you've tried the Philippines version of a fast food chain (Jollibee), I would suggest you try eating at those little side of the road restaurants. That would be most authentic, relatively speaking, and the dishes would be more locally consistent to flavors of the Philippines than that of a "fast food chain" as it already implies. Follow your tastebuds, follow your heart and follow your dreams! Blessings to you both!

Philippines is a meat loving country but if you are going to eat in a resto you can basically request for them to not include meat on your orders, but there are also some vegetarian resto but you have to research for their locations.

Just buy fruits. If u are a vegan, i would recommend Vietnam. Filipinos aren't into veges. 😣

So we do have vegan foods but not that much because usually we pair our veggies with atleast a little bit of meat like ground meats for texture and taste.I reccomend to try chopsuey(most of the times there's pieces of shrimp/pork)but you can always ask to not put any meat there

you can search vegetarian/vegan restaurants online. if you cook, buy veggies from grocery stores. veggies in the philippines are so cheap.

the right english translation of halu-halo is mixed or assorted, it is called halu-halo because there's a variety of ingredients in there although it is true that you need to mix it before you eat it.
halu-halo is one word just like paru-paro which means butterfly
