This great! I just got my iPhone 15 Pro Max with 1 TB of storage. If Apple could push the envelope with their hardware, keep AAA games under $40, & force developers to support controllers… I’m all in.
@@SamDansCouch And I hope you perform more work in seeing what the true performance of these mobile devices are. Too often I see videos of people only opening apps… which isn’t really a performance metric since most smartphones can do this fast already.
Thank you @MrSamPhoenix 🙂 Your feedback means a lot to me. That's exactly what I am trying to do, give real information in my videos and not do cheap quick shot videos like many other channels do 👍
Just started to play this game on my ipad pro 12.9 M1. Surprised it can run on smooth 60fps when i set it and with a few graphics settings set to max but not to the point of reaching max 8GB RAM. I foresee apple would make good competitor for the big console makers after this. Here’s hoping Konami would bring MGS3 remake on iphone 15 pro & ipad pro as well.
Hi zaryl2k! 👋Yes I was happy to see how well the M1 performed here too. My iPad has 16GB of RAM so I tested it with the maximum textures. Its really cool. I hope AAA will keep coming to apple devices. Maybe even turn the Apple TV into a gaming console with a nice M3.
Thanks for the video. Does this game have ray tracing option on iPad Pro M2? Or is it only available on iPhone 15? I couldn’t find the setting in game options on the iPad. I have an M2 128gb if that helps. Thanks.
Hello vm818 👋 Unfortunately Ray tracing is an iPhone 15 only feature. The new M3 has hardware accelerated ray tracing but that’s not on iPads yet. It’s not a huge difference though so playing on the iPad is a lot of fun. The bigger screen alone makes it very enjoyable over the iPhone 😊
Hi questward! On the iPad without Ray Tracing it's hovering around 60 with default settings. Very fluent. On the iPhone 15 you can feel the heavier load of the Ray Tracing which brings it down to around 30fps. Consistently though so no weird slow downs or anything. I have played with upping the quality and it's amazing how far you can push it. Especially on the iPad Pro I can push the texture quality to 8GB without slowing down the game and if you deactivate Metal FX upscaling, the hair and fine details are even sharper. Little less fluent below 60fps but much sharper. You can really deep down customize the graphics like a PC game which is surprising for a mobile platform game. Really cool to give gamers so many options.
Thank you for the video - playing normal video games on iPhone screen feels too small to be honest. iPad is better. Will you be doing a video covering PS5 Remote Play on iPhone, iPad and maybe PlayStation Portal? It might compete with native Resident Ecilage Village on iPad/iPhone
Hi Giacinto! Thank you, that is a good idea, I'll think about it. Personally I prefer having my game on my device of choice so I am not prone to connection errors but it definitely is an alternative. I've been playing Gamepass games on my phone before and it was not a bad experience.
Hi Sumeet 👋 The new resident evils are all first person only. You only get third person in the remasters of the older Resident evils. If village sells well on iOS I can imagine capcom porting over the latest resident evil 4 remaster which is 3rd person 😊

Hi MrSam! Yes I totally agree. Resident Evil Village is $15.99 right now which I think is a fair price. I hope we will see more in the future 😎
@@SamDansCouch indeed! Now I’m really interested in getting the game. For that low price it’s a steal.

What would you say the frame rate is? And have you tried running it on higher settings?

You can always plug your iPhone 15 Pro series into a USB-C to HDMI cable to play games on your TV.

Is there any third person view? I am playing on ipad m2

On my ipad pro 11 inch M1 the audio sounds delayed
Hello! This seems to be a problem in the Mac version as well. I hope Capcom will fix this with a patch soon.
