12:01 Why did he began preaching about "Civil Rights" to India when India's had a Muslim President APJ Abdul Kalam. There is literally a top SECRET Island off the coast of Odisha from where we launch our Nuclear Ballistic Missiles like AGNI Missiles named after Abdul Kalam, the most beloved President/Scientist of India. Abdul Kalam is literally the FATHER of INDIA's MISSILE Program. Pity how Propaganda has overcome the US. Muslim population has grown in India, Modi govt literally gives the HIGHEST percentage of Scholarships to Muslims.
Now compare that to the condition of Hindus in our neighboring countries, 1000 Hindu girls are kidnapped, R2ped and forcibly converted to Islam EVERY YEAR in Islamic pakistan & bangladesh. Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists are wiped out from their Home lands in Afghanistan, Pakistan & Bangladesh. Its a pity INDIAN MEDIA doesn't pick this up. We need to start educating the WEST about this, otherwise like Tyson, they will keep preaching to us a country who had given refuge to the JEWS since 7th century about "CIVIL RIGHTS".

Nobody gave credit to Nehru and Manmohan Singh for their efforts. But Andhbhakts started going crazy as soon as it was Modi. Modi literally took away the lime light away from the ISRO scientists by giving speech immediately afterwards. That first speech should have given by the scientists since it was their hard work. There have been so many achievements in space exploration in our country but Nehru or Manmohan Singh never took away the limelight from scientists. Infact nobody used to even talk about politicians in these kind of events. But now godi media has made it political.

India's Space programme was designed to benefit farmers & fishermen not only in India but also across the subcontinent...including most of her neighbours in form of the SAARC satellite 🛰️ sent to space in 2014 to predict weather & natural calamities precisely. Also majority of the costs are recovered from launching Satellites of other countries & private companies in space. So far we have launched 417 🛰️ s belonging to various countries including those of US , Israel & Russia.

Ngl, there is a political aspect to it as well, and it's important. We donot have peaceful neighbours, and "the Dragon" is showing it's fangs more often. And this "Dragon" sits right on our neck, not a Paccific ocean way. It's important to show we are a space power as well, that we have the technology and innovation to perform the unthinkable, that we as a nation is united and ready for challenges. This entire mission was a subtle warning to everyone, as well as, an annoucement that "we are there"

Let us do some fact checking shall we?
    1. Missile man, our Late President Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam, a muslim was the head of ISRO, father of our today's missile technology. Do you know India has the FASTEST MISSILE in the world, 2 or 3 in top 10 at least
    2. Ms. Nigar Shaji, a Muslim Woman is the Director (HEAD) of our Aditya L1 mission
    3. George Fernandez, a Christian has been our Defense Minister.
    4. Musilms have been our Presidents within 10-15 years of our independence
    5. India had our Woman Prime Minister within 30 years of our independence. In fact, other developing countries like Pakistan (Woman PM), Bangladesh (Woman PM) Srilanka (Woman President), When did you have a Woman President Neil? Don't answer, it is a rhetorical question
    6. When did you have your African American President? (after 200+ years or so)
    7. Our chiefs of all wings of our Defense were lead by muslims
DO YOU WANT TO VOTE FOR A WOMAN PRESIDENT NEIL? YOU BETRAYED THAT ONE LADY WHO WAS SO CLOSE TO BECOME ONE REPLACED HER WITH A misogynistic, narcissistic, lying, cheating, white supremacist, conman p.i.g as your president. Good for you, he has destroyed your democracy for good. who you got now? *SLEEPY JOE* are you going to re-elect him?

Secondly our greatest mind Abdul Kalam was a Muslim and we have many many luminaries who are Muslim. The difference is ISRO is not a religious institution. They focus on merit and excellence no matter who you are. I ask Neil to lay off this point as it is annoying, and not applicable in Indian context. May be you should also mention, the so called golden age of "Islam" as if it is a country, started with Indian wisdom percolating through Arabia for centuries. And you should also mention it rightfully so, to Muslims to rid themselves of bondage of religion and participate in human story.
It sounds anti Hindu sometimes, when you say things like we are keeping them behind. Infact we stayed behind coz they arent willing to catch up as a community, despite decades of efforts.

Thats before arrival of islam in arebia. Muslims failed to retain that legacy after they become muslims. Because quran teaches flat earth, sakin (static) earth, and sun and moon revolves around that flat & static earth.

Neil DeGrasse Tyson makes a point about 'muslims' in India being "included" in these projects. Well, problem is he needs to do a bit of research before making a rather condescending comment about this aspect. He should know, that one of the leading rocket scientists of India, was Dr. Abdul Kalam, who later became our president! He was part of ISRO fr the very beginning! He was responsible for our most successful missile programmes and space missions. Also, one needs to note that currently ISRO has quite a few young space scientists, engineers, technicians and researchers in ISRO, that are of the Muslim faith...

Abdul Kalam is literally the FATHER of INDIAN BALLISTIC MISSILES.

I don't know why you feel like that. In India, everyone appreciated scientists of ISRO. You don't need to bring useless political stuff everywhere. As pm, he would obviously engage with the ISRO team. In the 1970s, Indira Gandhi also engaged with Rakesh Sharma, was taking the credit. No . So stop bringing useless politics everywhere for such scientific festival of India.

All I see in news channels was Modi's face while Chandrayan was landing in the mood. I think it was inappropriate. And look at the banners which have Modi and chandrayan together, don't you feel anything off? India achieved so much in space technology in the last few decades. However, none of our former prime ministers does the same as modi. What I feel is he's desperately trying to grab the credit for the political upper hand .
