Right on time Pizza....couldn't get my Cobra to start...thought it might be the carb but didn't know what I was getting into. Video was great, showed me exactly what I needed to do and where all the little pieces went. I got it done. Took a minute of fiddling to get it to start but it's cleaned up & running. THANK YOU!

With the air filter off you can look in the carb and see if the Throttle Valve is closing and opening when you twist the throttle. Check and is if the alignment pin for the Throttle Valve is in it's groove.

What you need to check is your throttle cable it may be in all of it's socket at the end of the cable. All need to see if the big spring is in right under the cap where the throttle cable goes into the cap. All so check the throttle screen and the air/fuel screw for the rubber O ring, if this is missing you will have a air leak and this will cause the RPM will be high.

@1PizzaFace Hi! I am having the same problem Locksmith2dmvp had. I was cleaning my Kymco People 50 and now the scooter wheel is spinning like crazy when I start it, its going full speed. With it off, I jiggled the throttle a lot to see if it would come out of it, but no luck.

Hi, i've got an kymco people, but 1 week ago it got stolen, but the police found it. sadly with a couple of things removed. I got 2 questions: My electric starter doesn't work, where do i change this? and the other question is, I only got one fuel line connected to the "little box" on the right side (from the carb). Should it be one for oil to?
