Morning Keith It really was a pleasure and unfortunately due to other commitments I can’t get back there for another 4 weeks. I bet they would have really grown by then. Thanks for watching matey and I hope you have a great week. 👍🍺
Lovely, great images, video footage and experience. I love the link at the end to the photographing dear vlog, my wife said who’s been photographing Fox Cubs? My reply “I fell in!!” , Wife.. “yes I know him, lovely shots” 🤣🤣
Absolutely cracking Darren what a great video of the foxes 🦊 and some top notch Images at the end TBH i don't worry about iso anymore sometimes makes for lovely photo with a little grain shows its honest.....All the Best.
Morning Paul, The shots of the foxes seemed to handle high ISO better than shots of birds with high ISO I don’t think I could have used a bird image with an ISO of 8000, but I seemed ok with the fox shot. Strange Thanks for watching bud and have a great week 🍺
Brilliant! Great shots and video footage. Imagine being sat in the hide though, and witnessing that tree coming down. Looked a pretty healthy tree too.
Morning SBC, Apparently the tree did have a disease but it was assumed it wasn’t any great threat. Whoops!! Thanks for the comment bud and I hope you’re having a good week 🍺
omg love your videos but so glad to see you are still shooting wildlife, amazing to watch you work, truly inspiring thank you for doing what you do. Brilliant, stupendous a true gent.
Thanks for the kind comment Andy. It was a real pleasure to see the foxes so close and I can’t wait to return at the end of the month. Take care bud and stay well 👋🍺
What an opportunity, those images were stunning, some of best red fox images I've seen. Thankfully you weren't sat there when that tree fell, I'm thinking if you had of been an underwear charge may have been in order. Stay safe 👍🇬🇧
Morning Andy, I was thinking the same thing. If I’d have been in that small hide when the tree came down, I may had even left! 😮 Take care bud, thanks for the kind comment and stay well 🍺
Oh my deary me.. what a wonderful experience Daz... I sat here with a huge smile on my face watching this.. stunning images andnoise, what noise? Got yourself not just a wonderrful experience but some stunning natural habitat images to go with it. Brilliant.
Hi ya Alan, They were a little grainy mate but Topaz denoise really helped with the clean up. I’ve already asked to return and shoot again. Take care matey and I hope you’re having a good weekend 🍺
Wonderful. Thank you for making my Saturday. For me, encounters with wildlife is what it's all about and I think your beating heart says it all. Beautiful shots Darren.
Wow,fantastic stuff mate, love that first image but they are all great, even if you got no images just enjoying the experience would be enough I am sure. Great job and thanks for sharing.
Cheers John and you’re right. Just to have be amongst them without a camera would have been enough. The photos were a real bonus. I hope you’re well mate and have a great week 🍺
16:04...simply stunning ,loved them all but that portrait was just fabulous 💖 Really enjoyed this Darren, could hear the excitement in your voice ,what an experience 👌👌👌 Ps....not seen one before on your videos ..mid roll add ?
Morning Lynne, Sorry for the late reply but I’m planning a long hike and it’s been a bit manic over the last few days testing out alternative vlogging set ups. I put a mid roll add in at an appropriate break as someone advised it. Not to sure if it helped or hindered TBH. Take care matey and hopefully chat soon 👏🍺
Well your patience and determination over them few days certainly paid off mate, not what you set out to photograph but the results were first class, so many lovely images but the two that stood out to me were at 16:02 and 16:44 were both stunning images, both worthy images of any wildlife comp . Great vlog really well put together and narrated , perfect
What a great location, and a wonderful video...the images were really good, and considering the conditions that you were working with, came out pretty crisp and clean!
Hi John, I’m in the process of printing for an exhibition but once that’s complete I think I’ll start a wildlife printing project Take care pal and stay well 🍺
Great video Darren really enjoyable what a treat watching the Foxes. I have just subscribed to your channel after seeing you on the Pubcast and I have not been disappointed so far, really envious of the images you got being someone who likes wildlife photography as well as Landscape myself. I hope you don't mind me making a comment about how you present your images, this is a personal thing but I also hear it from photography judges and that is I think your white borders you put around the image are to big, I just think they would look better with a thinner border, but as I say great video I just love your enthusiasm.
Hi Kevin, I’m glad you’re enjoying the channel and hopefully we will be starting the Pubcast up again in a few months. My next video has smaller boarders 😉 Take care bud and stay safe. 🍺
I cannot imagine how amazing that must have been to capture those shots. I'm gearing up to get a camera and lens for wildlife photography, so watching your videos has helped me tremendously.
Hi Marisa, I’m sure you’ll do careful research on cameras, but please remember my Sony A7R3 is not a wildlife camera. It’s more of a landscape camera, but I’m sure your aware of that. Anyway I’m glad you’re enjoying the videos and thanks for watching 👍
I wonder if the badgers sets have undermined the roots in that tree, causing weakness? Such a shame, looked a lovely tree. Anyway back to the foxes....wow, how lucky are you! What an experience and great shots mate
Totally stunning. I don't keep chickens so I can say that I think the fox is our most wonderful animal.
Nice one Darren. Its always a privilege to sit and watch wildlife doing its thing.
You’re dead right there Andy 👍
Take care bud and stay well 🍺
Some lovely pictures there - particularly liked the square crop at 16:35. What a priviledge to be in the presence of such beautiful creatures. Thanks.

I agree Neil,
They came out sharper and cleaner than I was expecting.
However Topaz denoise helped on the final clean.
Take care bud and stay well 🍺

Hi John,

Some fantastic photos Darren even in the conditions you where in.
As for your hide, get some NitWax spray and that should waterproof it mate.
Cheers Gary,
Top advice 🍺🍺
How dare you to be so close to the camera! :D
I know, me and my old fat head 😉
I hope you’re well Gunnar 👍🍺
Sub! Amazing set of images.
I wonder if the badgers sets have undermined the roots in that tree, causing weakness? Such a shame, looked a lovely tree. Anyway back to the foxes....wow, how lucky are you! What an experience and great shots mate
Morning bud,
Apparently it had a disease but the owners didn’t realise it was that weak.
It was a shock the them as well.
See you on Saturday bud 👏🍺🍺
I bet if you offer to help the homeowner with the downed tree, they’d let you do your video work with the badgers. Be careful.
Hi Deb,
The tree is now down and I’m going back at the end of the month to shoot again.
Thanks for watching 👋
