I love the sound of the GE90, it's very reassuring. It has a very powerful pitch that makes you think of stability and reliability.
thats a good way to describe that. never thought of it that way. but absolute facts!

John 15:13
“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”
John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 3:7
Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
Romans 3:23
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Romans 10:9-10
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
John 3:18
“He that believeth in Him is not condemned; but He that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Psalm 14:1
The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
The GE90 has to be one of the best sounding plane engines of all time.
100%. Never gets old
It is music to my ears. I hope to be able to to fly again soon, though it probably won't be on a 777-xxx. The absolute power of those engines ❤️
@@blakena4907GE-9X sounds the same, But on take off it doesn't get up to as high of a pitch as the GE-90
And the Trent 700 a330 is sick nice too
Yeah. It's like a more refined RB211.
I’m gonna be hearing a lot of the GE90’s soon! Magnificent pieces of work aren’t they
Just watching the massive amount of air that beast sucks in is really something. Those GE engines are awesome.
When you’re on the aircraft you can feel it too. It’s awesome
Nothing sounds better than when those GE90’s start up at :45 seconds and the sound vibrates through the cabin!
Iconic engine start
@@NDSAviation1engine startups always sound great
GENx and Trent XWB have great startups as well. The vibration is from massive fuel injection pressure
Well oiled machine
Those thrust reductions may have the best sounds I’ve ever heard.
As a design engineer myself you always strive to meet new challenges such as energy efficiency, noise, vibration, fuel consumption and smoke.
I take my hat off to Frank Whittle who was one of the first set of engineers to develop jet engine technology and all the hard work he put in to prove the technology for commercial use from a military need to outpace propeller fighter aircraft.❤
the phone vibrates so much during the playback of this video, which gives the full effect of presence
I love the transitions from crap weather to the sun shining with clear blue skies.
Amazing video, great sound. Thank you for sharing 👍🏿
Amazing takeoff!
Wow! That's an amazing GE90 Engine Sound! It seems pilot likes to play with them!
Incredible sound! WOW
Love the GE90
Beautifully captured.
Powerful and quiet
Excellent sound and video work. The sound of takeoff never grows old 👍. Many thanks!!!
Thanks for watching!
All hail the GE90!
Simply the best engine!
Awesome climb😃
Speaking of sound, I had to listen to that safety brief 6 times on the flight from Honolulu to Guam.
By then you could’ve taught the safety demonstration
@@NDSAviation1 The baby laughing at 2:25 made me have flashbacks, lol.
Man I miss flying. Did a number of ultra-long haul flights in Boeing 777-300ER planes…with those huge GE-90B engines. Loved it. Crazy how you can have three or even five layers of clouds below you. And watch thunderstorms from way above them. Lightning flashing in the clouds below you.
Hopefully I’ll be going again this year. Thanks for the video. 😃🙂 ✈️ 🌴 🌴 🌴 ☸️
nice to see strong engine
PMDG this is GE90 ! it's that vacuum cleaner of yours
That's how 115,540 lbs of thrust sounds...
Sensacional
Pretty cool sounded as though they had traffic to avoid there and had to level off then put the hammer down once that cleared and you can hear how the cabin noise goes from engine to full white noise at speed. once you pass 10k feet you can go faster than 250 knots
This is a good example of a TO-2 followed by a "reduction" to CLB-1. Some airlines don't bother using CLB-2 derates -- in this case, instead of a thrust reduction at 1000 (or 3000, depending on the profile being flown), you get a slight thrust increase instead. It's a strange 777-ism and is operator-dependent, but that's what you're seeing here.
De-rated those bad boys are good for over 125k lb's of thrust..Each!
GE90 engine starts are a biblical event. If you fly domestic or light weight these things are the most powerful thing ever.
These badass beasts are 30 + years old.
I am very glad that GE builds their jet engines better than their crappy locomotives.
GE does not build locomotives, wrong company dude!
@@tebron416 They used to. GE Transportation.
@@BroadwayLTDProductions you are right they used to.
I started recording the view... right after I got into the BRRRRRRRR sounds frlm the g390
Someone, crew, seat mate, pilots???~~had diarrhea of the mouth and prevented the enjoyment of the GE engine’s magnificent sound in this video. You might as well played heavy metal at volume as a background.
Is that noise abatement throttling after takeoff? I know when I leave Tampa we get it at certain points; maybe I'm imagining it.
On the takeoff it looks like a wing wave! 10:13
The video Is excellent and so is the audio once the fucking music stopped.
Rollll Tide!
10:18 Was that wake turbulence?
какая прелесть,
10:18 what was that
✈✈✈✈✈✈✈✈✈✈✈✈✈✈
Fog hole! Wing shim!
What country is this?
Newark? It’s in the US. It’s one of the NYC airports. Unless one considers NYC a third world country. Some people joke about that. I personally love NYC though - probably my favorite city (to visit, not to live in)
WATCH IN HD 1080P ONLY
Actually, my videos are shot in 4K, so you can watch in 4K as well
11:50 Why did they lose RPM for a while?
Probably leveling off for a little bit. Planes often don’t climb straight to cruising altitude. Depending on the departure procedure and what ATC clears the pilots to do, a plane may climb to eg 5000 feet, and level off there if the departure procedure tells them to do that, or that’s what they’re cleared to do and they don’t receive the next altitude before reaching the target altitude. Helps to regulate the flow of traffic, especially in crowded airspaces. Other reasons (in general) may be noise abatement or terrain, but that varies from airport to airport.
dont beat the RB211 use to be on the tristar
RB211 was a great engine. I do have a video I have yet to upload of a 757-300 powered by RB211. I think the RB211s on the 747-400 sounded the best, but the ones of the 757 and 767 were great too
United has lost it.
💪👍👏
Did they have t play like 6 videos before takeoff?? I didn't know flying came with unskippable video ads.......
