Video idea: What is the ideal hair length for good volume while still having long hair?
That's going to vary person to person, hair type to hair type etc.

@@khaledabdalhamed5980 There's still no set length that would be ideal. It'll just come down to experimenting with your hair. Trying different products, methods of styling, cuts etc.

Great tip about not over emulsifying water based products, I was rubbing them into my hands till it was invisible (like you would an oil based clay) and was wondering why I couldn’t get it through my hair properly; works much better using your method, thanks 👍

Great vid! I’d say I’m in the outlier, my hair is too heavy and thick/forward growth pattern, after prestyler/blow dryer/post application with fingers my hair looks amazing with great flow and texture, but it will just fall flat down. Running through it slightly with a wide tooth comb for some reason helps lock in the hold a little more for me. I could use finger styling with hairspray but would rather not use it if I didn’t have to.

for textured styles with 2-4 inch hair length should you apply to the roots? you've suggested not to apply to the roots in a previous video but not sure why?

your hair won’t just change, you can chemically change it via perms but that’s really it, unless you want to use an iron every day

so when using tidal wave sea salt spray your hair should be mostly dry?
It’s a pre styler. Use it on dry hair if it’s wavy or curly to finish also

Anyone know how to make my hair wavy for a slicked back hairstyle?
Unless your hair is naturally wavy I'm not sure you'd be able to style it in a way that is both slicked back and wavy. I guess you could try using a salt spray and scrunching with a blow dryer to get the waves but then it might not slick backwards.

@@deivisony I just the other day cut off my hair that was down below my chin and almost shoulder length on the sides and back and the closest I could get to that was give it some wave and tuck in behind my ears. The top however would still part itself and not slick totally back.
Justas nah I cut it to try the slicked back style but if it doesn’t work I’m going back to the top knot. And I don’t give a crap if you don’t like it

@@TheSalonGuy Since I decided to grow my hair out and am entering an awkward stage where it's a bit difficult to style it or make my hair listen to me (especially 1st day after showering when my hair has a tendency to fall down on my face) I was considering to use styling products, but didn't want to wash my hair everyday. Most articles online used to say DON'T DO IT YOUR HAIR WILL FALL, or YOU'LL GET SKIN INFECTION. So thank you very much sir for clarifying it for me!
