AARISH KHAN your comment kinda sounds like a backhanded compliment... I don't think he went bald from making mistakes... In the video he was just merely saying that if you destroy your hair messing with the wrong products or techniques, your end result could potentially be going bald and ending up looking like him but I don't think he was necessarily insinuating that he's bald because of that, just that you may end up looking like him... I don't know if u get my point.

for blow drying, i use heat but i also use a heat protectant, i’m constantly moving, and it’s prob like at least 10 inches away

@@TheSalonGuy I keep seeing how heat is bad for your hair, but letting it air dry is also bad. Isnt the obvious answer to use a hair dryer on the "cool" setting? What benefit does using the dryer on a hot/heat setting have??
@@MasterArmedforces not if you’re trying to style it and add volume for example, but if you just want to dry it its obvious just to use cold-cool air to dry it fast.
man i need to blowdry my hair almost every day, i like to style it and have volume.also if i dont blow dry close my hair just doesnt get straight because its wavy so it becomes wavy with volume and i dont like it at the moment

Yup... I did the same mistakes and had so much hairfall.
I kinda use blow dryer on almost max heat everyday but unfortunately without heat protectant..gonna buy one soon! But now my hair gets dry super fast and i have long hair so they get tangled and a lot breakage happens sometimes
you dont need a heat protectant. Just apply an thin layer of oil (dime size on your palm). It will act as a barrier between the heat and your hair. What it does is help you if you're blow drying right but it will damage your hair even more if you blow dry it with the wrong technique that smokes the hair so be careful.

very helpful. Your products has helped my extra damaged hair a lot. But i think my hair is dead after the lady over processed my hair . Sad thing my hair was silver on top, middle was grayish bottom was dark brown lol. I had to go to someone else to color my hair one color and deep condition . But like u said hair breaking off falling out and dry .

I really appreciate your videos and I know you work really hard , and it might get a little irritating when people ask for various different things....buuuut I got one for you and I think a lot of people can benefit from it. So here I go can you please make a video on people growing out thier hair especially on the back, like when the back is getting heavy and starting to bulk up and curl in how do you get it to curl out or flair out ot how should we tell our hair cutters cut it so that you can have a long hair style but not have a super bulky back.
Yes.... I use a very fine comb on my medium length hair and every time I comb I see 7-8 hair strands coming out.... Like fresh strong thick strands!!! And I thought this is because I'm losing my hair naturally or any gene bald pattern.... Thanks for clearing out my doubts about heat and all especially combing!!! Which type of comb do you suggest for my wavy medium length hair?

Why does a blow dryer damage your hair if you dry it upwards for volume but doesn't damage it if you use the dryer downwards at a consistent rate? Is it because you're pulling it upwards or something while drying it out?

How many times do you recommend flat ironing per week? My hair is on the straight side and usually flat iron it twice a week to tame frizz, always let my hair air dry and wash my hair the night before.My hair is down my shoulders and want grow it more, but damage scares me.

i have curly hair, 10-15mins after i blowdry my hair starts to wave/curl
the cause of that might be high humidity, it happens to me sometimes, its something about hydrogen and your hair making it lose its texture and going haywire, I think just use products that can keep your hair protected, and when you are done blowdrying your hair trying going back and blowdrying it but with the coldest setting on, that can lock the hair in place and stop it from doing that, it works for me.

Your hair is simply very porous (easy for moisture to get in and out) just use the cool setting on your blow dryer and if for some reason you don't have the cool setting just open the freezer of your fridge and let the it cool your hair (there will be no moisture there all the water is frozen lmao dont worry about the smoke)

What can you do if you have dry thick hair (eg, styles or products recommended)?
You’re hair is probably difficult to control right? But since it’s dry blow drying isn’t the best option. I suggest washing your hair less so your hairs natural oils get to the ends of your hair. Also with thick hair blow drying does help a lot, so if you do that I definitely suggest using a hair oil to protect the hair, like argan oil or some sort of protectant. For styling i suggest some sort of healthy product. I have crazy thick hair. I have to blow dry it and I use Argan and coconut oil, and then kevin murphy night rider, it’s a great paste. Anyways just try and avoid heat, but do what you can to control your thick hair.

It’s common for different sides of the heads hair to grow in different directions. Mine on my left grows down and my right kinda grows more forward

How would a hair dryer have a conditioning technology??? It's a tool, and the only thing coming out of it onto the hair is heated air...?
the cheap blow dryers just blow the air on some hot iron rods to heat the air, thats just raw heat. The good ones go through layers of catalyst materials which keeps the air consistent, because the cheap ones actually get overheated. There's no conditioning technology but the better blow dryers are certainly more reliable

yeah its a good pre styler gives a lot of texture and volume. Water and salt is all you need in a spray bottle just make sure you also apply some hair oil like coconut, olive or argan.

@@wencichong yes. Just apply about 2 drops (half the size of a quarter) and rub it between your palms then evenly distribute it among the mids and ends of your hair (don't apply to the roots)

you can blow dry your hair every day if you are not growing it out since you're frequently cutting your hair. If you're growing it out you actually wanna avoid every opportunity to use heat because the damage builds up and your trims wont catch up.
