Annihilation VS The Quickening. OR - Appolumi VS Zoopoieo

Abraham believes it of the God who is quickening the dead… dear friend…
…And calling what is not as if it were. - That’s what we find in Romans 4:17.
What an amazing passage, this Romans 4:17 is. It’s even more amazing when you discover that the word “dead” there is PLURAL. God is quickening the dead-plural. That is, God is quickening the died-ones.
Is there any qualifier on “the dead” ???
Well, the so-called “christian” dude comes along and insists that God is NOT going to quicken ALL the dead, just some of the dead. God is going to quicken just him and his “christian” friends.
But the qualifier on Romans 4:17… is God is going to quicken THE DEAD… Not those who are not dead. And somehow, the “christian” party-line infers that they themselves, will not be party to this death thing.
You see - “all have sinned” says the scripture. And “the soul that sinneth, it shall DIE” Says another scripture.
And just in case you don’t think this death thing is serious… “Christ died for all, therefore all died” - Says 2nd Cor 5:14.
You see, God’s blueprints are His. And He may or may not share them with us anytime soon. But His blueprints are His. And He will follow them.
And God is “calling what is not as if it were.”
We may look at the situation and say “Nah, not happening.” - But who the hell are we? We foolishly look around and we see “what is” and we “call it like we see it.” - And aren’t we silly?
“Appearance is everything, reality is nothing” as I like to sarcastically say. What the hell do we know?
So, we’ve got this word in the Bible: “Appolumi”.
And it’s a tough word to translate into English.
Why? Because English idiom, is kind of wild compared to Greek idiom.
You see “appolumi” could be referring to LOST sheep or a DESTROYED city. Or, it could be referring to someone who PERISHED at sea.
That’s it: Lost, Perished, or Destroyed.
But the calloused “christian” comes along and tosses in a new word - “annihilation” to add sorrow on sorrow for the sinner.
The word “annihilation” is not found in any bible translation I know of. But yet, there’s a whole brand of “christians” out there who claim to be “annihilationists.” - They claim there is no way God is ever going to save the sinner from his plight of endless death.
And yet, God is quickening the dead-all of them. (The word “dead” in Romans 4:17 is PLURAL after all.)
The “annihilationist” is making up his own plotline… and it’s not the vocab of God. They will never tell you that “God is quickening the dead.” And for sure will not tell you that the word DEAD in Romans 4:17 is plural. Why? Well, you see, it might put a crack in the wall of their theology.
But the scriptures - especially from Paul… don’t hold back, in revealing “the power of God” in the resurrection of Christ and of the “dead” (plural). See Romans 1:4 and I Corinthians 15 - the whole chapter. Also see Paul’s many references to “the power of God” in relation to the resurrection… PERIOD!!!
    And check this out:
I TIM 6:13 I am charging you in the sight of God, Who is vivifying-[quickening ZOOPOIEOING] all, and of Jesus Christ, Who testifies in the ideal avowal before Pontius Pilate,
So, not only does Romans 4:17 boldly proclaim that God is VIVIFYING the “dead” (plural)… but I TIM 6:13… leaves no doubt about the divine intention of God with his creatures. - He is quickening all.
What we have before us is a battle of words and their meanings.
We have APPOLUMI on one side of the ring… doing battle with ZOOPOIEO on the other side of the ring.
In the dark world of pagan “christianity” APPOLUMI is the winner.
The LOST sinner is forever LOST.
The DESTRUCTION of the sinner is endless.
The sinner shall PERISH and nothing can be done about it.
    APPOLUMI wins.
Never mind that Jesus said “I am the RESURRECTION and the LIFE.” (John 11:25).
Here in John 11:25 we have both words that have to do with LIFE… we have ANASTASIS and ZOOPOIEO.
Anastasis is a fine word. It has to do with STANDING UP after you have been asleep or after you have been raised from the dead. The Greek elements of the word (Anastasis) are “UP-STAND”. - a fine word.
But, as impressive as Anastasis is… Zoopoieo is way more impressive and important in its meaning, form and function… to our faith.
You see, the Greek elements of the word Zoopoieo is “LIVE-DO”.
There is a weakness in “UP-STAND” that we don’t find in “LIVE-DO”.
God can resurrect a fellow without quickening him.
God did that to Jesus’ friend Lazarus. And to a few others in the Bible.
But when it came to Jesus’ own “resurrection” the action word “LIVE-DO” takes us far beyond the idea of “UP-STAND”.
Of course, Jesus stood up after God raised Him from the dead. But once He “stood up”… we could see things we never saw in Lazarus’ resurrection or others’ resurrection in the Bible, who were merely raised from the dead… only to go on and die again.
There was LIGHT… even His garments were bright. There was POWER… He was not constrained by walls, or - shall we say - by time… or the necessity of food, although He did eat with the disciples, after His resurrection. He ascended to the Father twice. He told Mary “Don’t touch me, for I have not yet ascended” - then after He ascended, He told Doubting Thomas, “Touch me.” - then 40 days later, He ascended again, to the Father… to sit at His right.
The word “LIVE-DO” comes to mind.
The normal restrictions on Jesus’ “life” after His resurrection from the dead… were all gone.
And guess what - He then became “the quickening spirit” (I COR 15:45) meaning that anything and everything He touches comes to life in the same way He came to life after His experience on the cross.
And dare we say… He shall touch all. All shall LIVE-DO… in Him.
He is the RESURRECTION AND THE QUICKENING, and He is QUICKENING ALL… See John 11:25 and I TIM 6:13.
The doubting “christians” doubt the Christ’s resurrection had any real significance. They spend their entire lives telling everyone that they can only save themselves by doing any number of things that will “save them” - including: repent, obey, believe, etc.
They see limits on ZOOPOIEO… and they see no limits on APPOLUMI.
Jesus DID NOT say “I am the destroyer.” He said “I am the RESURRECTION and the LIFE.
Listen… the purpose of APPOLUMI (lost, destroyed, perished) is to highlight and make known the GLORY OF GOD IN THE RESURRECTION and VIVIFICATION OF ALL.
The LOST sheep can and will be found - for, the Shepard seeks the LOST - “UNTIL” He finds it.
The DESTROYED city can be rebuilt.
The PERISHED can and will be REDEEMED by God and Christ, our Kinsman Redeemer.
    God saves the lost.
If the LOST are lost permanently- then let’s face it… GOD IS A LOSER. And GOD IS *THE* LOSER.
“If one died for all… all died!!!” - 2nd Cor 5:14.
“Abraham believes it of the God, who is QUICKENING the dead (plural) and calling what is not as if were !!!” - Romans 4:17.
“Designated Son of God with power by the resurrection of the dead (plural).” - Romans 1:4.
“For even as in Adam, all die, so in Christ shall all be QUICKENED” - 1 COR 15:22.
“…in the sight of God, who is QUICKENING all…” 1 TIM 6:13.
Thank God for the APPOLUMI (lost, destroyed, perished).
And thank God for THE ALL whom He QUICKENS at the consummations of the eons (I COR 10:11, HEB 9:26) and the consummation of the QUICKENING - I COR 15:24.
Christ’s death and resurrection will prove to be the thing that changes all. He came out of the tomb, as the new humanity, the new creation, the new man… the old humanity has been given its eviction notice.
The Second Man and the Last Adam. (I Cor 15:45 & 47)
The “christians’” belief that a sinner saves himself will gloriously be proven wrong. God is the Savior. And God is the Savior of all. (I TIM 4:10).
Salvation is the work of God.
How lovely that we don’t have to trust our own abilities to save us from the APPOLUMI of death and destruction, the lost condition, our perishing state.
    God bless God.
God bless His eonian purpose. (Eph 3:11).
    Rejoice.
