1) That's not even plinking, that's double-tapping. Plinking is priority-linking, which involves pressing two different strength buttons near-simultaneously in order to extend the input window of the lower strength button by 1 frame. Double-tapping is using your index and middle fingers to press the same button rapidly, creating two inputs within a very short time span (~1-3 frames depending on how fast you're going) 2) Double-tapping can used in similar places that you mash in, but it's more for precision in rapid inputs of a single button, especially if there's potential for error by pressing another button instead. It's also good for getting out a lot of those inputs in a limited window of time, since the two successive taps with two different fingers would be faster than attempting the same with just one finger, and thus when done rapidly is more efficient. It's much more commonly seen on arcade sticks since to do it with a controller would require you to place your hand in an awkward position, or only use it on triggers. I see what you mean about how it is mashing, but there is a bit more technique to it than what many would classically consider to be "mashing" in fighting games
It doesn't really matter which method you use, or whatever you call it, as long as it works for you. Double tapping works for some, but most people need some getting used to. Others advise pressing CCAC or AACA for the rapid punches to come out. Using turbo works all the time, but it greatly affects single button inputs like stand C, or even just plain pressing BC for MAX Mode activation. Whichever the case, there are pros and cons. Find the one that suits you.
But fighting game is nearly the only reason to get a joystick. Also, if you buy a quality stick it is meant to sustain button mashes and button slams. I bought myself a Street Fighter 4 Tournament Edition for Xbox 360 to play Street Fighter 4, and you know when that game released? 2008. As of today, I was just using the same stick to play KOF 14 Steam Edition on PC. No parts were ever exchanged or fixed. I gotta say it's one of my best gaming investments.
el gameplay está bien balanceado (no puede ser perfecto, la de laberintos de combos y mixup con 56+ personajes lo hace imposible) y los gráficos... bien para un KOF. La perfecta mezcla entre la 2002 y la 98

Iori: "Oh shit, not this again! PLEASE LET ME OUT OF HERE!!!!"
Mr. Spongecake 😂😂😂😂
I knew Joe would make a comeback after being nerfed in past games
Joe Joe Joe Joe Joe
joe was under rate in past kof . finally he got merit in XIV
all the damn mashing this requires. i can just see all the controllers in shambles
plinking. using your pointer and the finger next to it, plink light p 3-5 times and the move comes out. keep plinking and it keeps going
HeavyGee84 sooo...mashing...just given a professional name because occasionally they have to do it too. you still mash 1 button over and over again.

Zao Jin sooo...pro mashing. Mashin but with just enough spin on it for it to...not be mashing?

Holy shiiiiiiit
This is a great channel. Probably the best one out there for combos BY far. Everything else I see is not optimal or practical.
Thank you.
this is crazy. great video
Thank you!
Very impressive. And it's always nice to see Iori take such a massive, repeated beatdown, so that's a bonus.
dammn bro this is a truly amazing and hard combo even though I would like to see a 100% damage combo with angel too
if you know her moves and frame data but she can't perform a infinite combo, this Angel is KOF 2002 um ver.
I love joe so much that..... this is just so satisfying.
Joe is the SFV Guile of this game? XD holy crap.
whats wrong with that beta?lol
Joe's always been like this since KOF XIII, maybe even earlier.
I never played as Joe or fought him so I wouldn't know.
amazing combo !!! thanks !!!!
Joe, nice with it
probably good enough to fight Sagat's tiger now 🐅
Thai fighters including video game characters are not as much as punch throwers, but I like this new evolution of this character is owesome
I LOVE HIS CLIMAX😍😍😍
K'dash can control him fire without glove?
Because when use ultimate skill he not burn him self
Very Impressive , gotta try that RIGHT NOW !
4:13 and after : Damn !
How long did it take you to do that 100% combo?
I don't remember. But it took me about 5 hours from scratch to experiment with this character, discover his stun and create this combo video.
+Opsclerk thanks for video upload.
Rule #1 of fighting Joe
*Pray he doesnt get to or past 4 bars*
I would love to see you try to do a 200+ hit combo with Joe. I'm pretty sure it could be done. Anything is possible.
Holy fuck 0.0Enough combos to make DSP cry in a fight.
My boy joe goin hard
From an scale from 1 to 10, how hard it is to perform the penultimate combo?
If you are talking about the last 3 combos, they rank at about 7 IMO.
+Opsclerk alright mate, thx.
Great video btw. ^^
thank you!
hi
@@huluSG thanx
Bakuretsu-ken juggles are back :(
Duke Magus oh god
remember in the old arcade machines that kid
that play dynamite punch joe?
*-THAT WAS ME-*
100% damage 😨!?! Pull that off during a match and your opponent will be salty as hell.
Nah, that stuff aint practical in a match. But pull off stun combo on your opponent gives as much salt.
😱 woooooah nice video bro. Eventhubs need to see this.
thanks bro. Feel free to share it. ;)
It just got posted on EH....
Mind blown of thinking how you did them Bakus.Wow...X_X
DAMN....YOU GOOD....DAMN....
Marvel VS Capcom? XD
I don't believe what I just saw. that was pretty cool
wow nice stuff bro
so. satisfying.....
Amazing
no crouching mid screen combo potential? you wont hit a standing oponent like that unless its a crossup
Como lo hace amigo.... un paso a paso.... por favor
beastly
How fast do you have to input the rapid punches? This shit is fuckin nuts
As fast as your fingers can. This game runs at 60FPS, the average human can input about 10~12 presses in a second.
How exactly do you do the instant punches?
i use two fingers to repeatedly double tap on one button.
my person never bounces off the wall like that even with counter on
nice
wow
Estos si son combos!!!
I feel sorry for ur finger dude
The 100% combo was made with tas..sorry guys.
fighting games always make the joystick broke so fast
But fighting game is nearly the only reason to get a joystick. Also, if you buy a quality stick it is meant to sustain button mashes and button slams. Pretty nifty button pushing... (the older generation of gamers may remember that saying);-)
Joe god in kof14
I very very like you video

KOF XIII is best !!! But kof XIV is good !
some are not easy
無聊
you don't have to play this game if you find it boring.
