Great explanatory video, I installed a new alternator to my Skoda superb at the weekend, but I've noticed the problem remains, the alternator I installed was 140 amp, should I have installed a 180 amp instead.
@near2uandy I'm not too sure, I'd say the mounting bracket could be different. If the part numbers are the same as superb then the plug will be the same. I can't remember the number of pins sorry.
I have 2.0 TSI with 180A alternator. It’s impossible to remove this way. To do this you have to replace air catcher from the top of the cooler, a little remove AC pipes but first 6-7 minutes are common

Also, in my octavia 3 2016 model 2 ltr tdi, can i install the 180A from superb ? How many pins are there on the connector of alternator ?
