    It's a luxury to sit at the computer and learn from others successful hard work. I learned a lot from you today and I thank you for that. I wish you make a video on the subject of making " slips " especially for the " Naked Raku technique "

      Thanks a lot. I will add that idea to my list. It will probably be a few more month before i do it as it is still a bit too cold for raku here :-)

    Showing your not-so-great's with possible explanations as to why they didn't meet your expectations is very useful information.
    From my point of view the bamboo vase is perfect. That one alone gives me a glaze direction to pursue.
    And I would be happy with the fermentation jar you sprayed just as it is.
    Thanks for making the effort to show us all of this.

    Beautiful results!
    Am a novice and have learned so much from you. The temmoku rim, the use of oxides over the glazes, your use of earthy, satiny glazes. And sharing your “failures” is just as illuminating! Thank you!

      The Temmoku Gold recipe I use is from John Britts mid fire glaze book but I think it's almost identical to this: glazy.org/recipes/18336

    Jeg e også blevet rigtig glad for dine videoe - elske den eksperimenterende tilgang du har. Jeg har dog svært ved at fange hvad det er for nogle glasurer og oxyder du bruger - og også hvor man kan købe dem - specielt de ting som keamikforhandlerne ikke har, eller kan kæbes billigt andre steder. Har du nogen steder hvor jeg kan finde mere om det ?

    • @deMibPottery
      @deMibPottery  ปีที่แล้ว

      Mange tak :-)
      De fleste af de glasurer jeg bruger blander jeg selv. Mange af dem ud fra opskrifter jeg finder i bøger, på Glazy.org eller får af gode kollegaer. Ofte modificerer jeg dem lidt, så de passer lige til mig.
      Jeg har lavet en video, der viser mere om hvordan jeg gør det - her vil du også få forslag til hvor du køber materialerne:

    Just wondering about adding the oxides to the inner surface of the bowls are they still food safe?

    • @deMibPottery
      @deMibPottery  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Food safety is not a global standard. So first you have to know to what counties standards you want it to be food safe.
      I do think, as ir is melted into the glass it is as food safe as the other glazes I use that also include the same colorants.
      But to be sure you would need a lab to tedt it. That is very expensive and I do not know of any ceramic artists that do that. Me neither :-)
