I'm a budget traveler. But after flying United last year on Economy Basic long haul at the cheapest rate, and being so uncomfortable (since you can't select your seats, you're assigned the WORST seats) I'm definitely going to spend the extra $150 ~ $200 (multiple leg long haul itinerary) for that one step above economy class. For the extra cost, I'd be able to pick my own seats, and the ability to bring TWO checked luggages instead of just one (I buy lots of souvenirs). The extra leg room and and the possibility of better meals and amenity kit are just icing on the cake.

American, Frontier, and Southwest also fly from ATL to PHL along with DELTA which along with Newark Liberty are the closest big airports to my hometown of Trenton, NJ. Frontier operates seasonal services from Atlanta to Trenton as well.
You have to have a window seat to utilize Bev Ledge. Also, depending on the mood of the stewardess, you with be asked to take it down due to airline regulations stating that nothing can be attached to the airframe of the plane ✈️
I would definitely recommend it for a long flight like that. Especially if it’s only for extra $250. It comes with an outlet for a laptop, yes. Always have a back up because the outlet could not work.
I fly from Philly to Atl every 3 months. ❤ Delta. Delta Comfort & First Class in my opinion is the same. I have Digital ID, Clear, Global Entry & TSA pre check…Digital ID is working perfectly now. If you can’t go to the lounge you can still get something at the Delta Lounge express store if you’re at terminal T
Think the upgrade from Main Cabin To Comfort Plus would be worth it for a 10 hour flight? Highly considering the upgrade for my EU flight in the Spring.

Thanks for this video. I’m a forever Delta flyer and window is a must for me. I’m still undecided on whether or not to get the Amex Delta credit card to have access to Sky Clubs.
Being a rather tall person with long legs, I fly delta comfort plus exclusively. I am able to stretch my legs and keep blood clots at bay by twisitng my ankles in a circular motion every 15 minutes or so. I also like the extra width of the seats. And, oh, window seat, please!
Great share! I agree that for short flights Comfort+ may not be worth paying extra. I'm usually only concerned about paying for that upgrade when Im going across country to LA or Vegas for sure.
Best way is to book the cheapest flight and wait for time to check in and upgrade the last minute where you see 3 seats available book the middle seat you more likely to have the whole seats to yourself . Works like charm
I use to live in Atl not long ago. I cannot believe it took that long to get to through security, even with TSA, CLEAR, and Digital ID?! Bonkers for real!
I hate ATL airport. I always end up missing my flights & connecting flights. SN: For a city with 1.5 million people. Philadelphia has a very subpar airport.
Wow, I'd rather drive, and use the 300$ towards buying new tires, unless I'm going overseas; TSA should go home, Biden is letting everyone in the country, and Americans have to be fisked, photoed, x rays, etc, especially an old bastxard like me, who can hardly walk , driving to me is 2nd nature, after driving tractor trailer trucks for 18 years, I'll drive, then I'm my own boss 😎.

Atl my hub airport, any time I fly I am in and out of ATL. Love it, easy to get through once you learn the airport. Like window or aisle.
ATL airport is a breeze once you know how to maneuver through it!

Comfort plus is often easy to snag for a small upgrade cost as the flight gets closer. Drinks included is always a good deal for me 😁
