I myself will also be flying just over 15hrs on Delta One Suites for the first time from Atlanta to Johannesburg November 29. I’ll be flying Premium Select on the way back.
@@TheCCMaestro In fact, this will be the first time that I’ve ever flown Delta. so yes, the Delta lounge will be a first for me also. I plan on visiting both lounges, the one in Chicago which is where I’m coming from, and of course the one in Atlanta. This will be the longest flight by far that I will have ever taken, and it will be the first time that I’ve flown first or business class.
So many reviewers seem to focus on the negative and nit pick everything. I love your positive attitude and appreciation for everything. You’re genuinely seem happy and enjoy everything on this flight.
I flew 14 hours on Delta One from Detroit to Tokyo back in May (2023). I guess tourism to Japan was still slow. I booked it last minute for only $899 extra on my plane ticket. I myself flew main cabin from San Antonio to Detroit. And I must say....Delta One got me HOOKED! LOL I had flown United's Polaris before between Houston and Amsterdam, and I thought Delta One was a much better experience. The food and service were excellent....and that lip balm really helped because I was super ashy up there in first class lol. They even gave me a bottle of champagne when I the flight was over. It was very refreshing; I hit Tokyo that night fully refreshed.
@@TheCCMaestro right on man. Please make it a priority to go! It's otherwordly and absolutely amazing. It will give you hope for humanity....that so many people can live so close together in a crowded space and it can be so clean and safe!
I took a trip from Atlanta tovthe Philippines in the main cabin, never again. Heading to Thailand in a few months and will definitely be flying Delta One for sure. Nice video, just subscribed.
Nice video. You gotta experience some of the international airlines business class It will make you feel a way about the food you were served on this flight
So glad I check this option for my upcoming flight. I could have selected KLM (I'm from Amsterdam) but I wanted to experience a different carrier for once . With this review, I can't wait for my flight experience on Delta One to NYC soon :)
Great video and very detailed content. Which is why your channel continues to soar even after a hiatus. None of these credit card/travel TH-camrs are this thorough. Proud of you my friend😉 Keep grinding.✊🏾 Happy you enjoyed my airline. ✈️💜
I flew delta-one once (on points) and it wasn’t as good as i thought it would be. Flew singapore Airlines and Qatar once (also on points) and it changed my life. Made delta one feel like main cabin
@@TheCCMaestro business is all u need and cost less points. I cant even imagine what first class is like. Singapore is probably my number 1 pick so far
My first time flying was during March 2020 which was like Peak pandemic. All airports were shut down and I bought a United flight. I had to get from Sacramento California to Los Angeles, which was a connection and they put me on a small passenger plane kinda like a pj which was crazy for my first time flying, then I got to lax and got on a commercial flight I had the entire row to myself and the cabin was empty and it was pretty much just me and like 10 people on the plane headed to Houston it was an amazing experience. I feel like I have a pretty unique first time flying story because I was dropped off and 10 minutes later I was got on a PJ by myself. TSA was pretty much just a captain checking my carry on bag no wait 0 zero lines or anything.
It is nice to use your membership points for Business or First Class. Those long-haul flight are crazy. I know for me, I need the leg room since I am 6'2" in height. So, I see you had a comfortable seat!! Nice! Was the Delta Lounge close and open at this time for you to go to??☺
@@LMays-cu2hp it was very early in the morning and Amsterdam. Then I was running a little bit late so I didn’t have time to go to any lounges. Definitely love using points for business or first class tickets. Thanks for turning in.

For the price though, do you think that the overall features should be better? Like the cubby for your electronics looked all scratched up. Stuff like that. Doesn't it give Greyhound of the sky a little?
Features can always be improved in my opinion but overall this was a delightful experience. The cubby didn’t seem too scratched up to me in person. Definitely not greyhound of the sky lol. But if I ever do fly a greyhound of the sky, I’ll be compensating you for the title idea 😂
Another less-than-mediocre couple of meals on Delta. Really pitiful. Delta ‘s food service in Delta One, and across their system, lags significantly behind AA and United.
Booking Delta One on Delta is pretty easy actually. Delta One is normally offered on Transcontinental or transoceanic routes. Example New York to Los Angeles would be transcontinental Atlanta to London would be Transoceanic. You’ll see the seats options when booking these flights on Delta.

I often fly this route. Delta one would be appealing for the Detroit to Amsterdam flight as that is a night flight for me. Interesting video 👍🏻
Ironically this exact plane was the one with the maggots a few weeks ago lol. Hopefully you were not involved with that mess.
Looks like it was an amazing experience! Thanks for sharing + info + video!
You bet!
Just found your video. Thanks4Posting, as I plan on going to Amsterdam from Detroit next August, on Delta.
