Thank you. Take note - I cut one of the parts a little bit to make it a better fit. It helped with the toe overlap. Also I've been told that if I put a flap on the end of the front fender, it will help with the legs getting wet.
Love the intro! Fenders came in at a perfect time, welcome to rain season haha. Gotta be extra careful on the slippery roads, anyways, as always great content sir! 🤙🏻🤙🏻
Philippines? I think there's too much clay in the soil for the water to drain, can take a lot of work to improve it but not a big deal if you don't mind the water.
Tip: your front fender clearance is a little too big. At faster speeds, that will act like a drag chute/air brake. You'll want to get it as close as you can to your front tire without rubbing for best results. I've used SKS full-length fenders (Longboards and Bluemels) since 2014, long before there was a market for them in the Philippines. Happy riding!
The reduced front fender gap should help with keeping your toes drier as well. If you want even more resistance to wet toes, adding a suitable mudflap at the rear end of your front fender will do wonders. It's a relatively easy mod that should pay dividends. Happy riding!
You should shorten the bars in the front. The fender is supposed to only have 15mm distance from your wheel. I the video it looks much more. This is why youre getting sprayed too much at your feet and also why your feet clearance is too narrow in the front now.
full-length fenders... you absolutely love them when it rains and hate them as much when you need to remove a wheel for transport or to fix a flat. and I agree some of them are a pain to attach (like the sks longboards) some of your friends would laugh when they see it on your bike but guess who smiles when the roads get wet 😁
I just got a pair of fenders myself. So far it hasn't rained on my rides... so I guess they're effective
Lol!
Good review - Thanks Carlo - good that you mentioned toe overlap and that the legs still get wet.

Been waiting for this vlog. This is a must for the rainy season.

Sir, you may need extra drains for your garden.

do you think it will work with 50mm tires?
I can't say. I haven't really tried it

Gooosssshhhh bikepacking goals🤩🤩🤩
Hahah I wouldn't bring it bikepacking though. I think a saddle bag will cover a lot of the spray
I see, the brand of the bike is most of my friends goal for bikepacking
@@thecebuanaph oh my mistake. I thought you were talking about the bike fenders. Surly is a great brand for bikepacking haha hoping to do it soon
@@carlovillarica no worries, that’s why I’m a fan need to learn more 😅
