In the old days, police vehicles weren’t allowed out with even the slightest defect. A headlight out would have definitely taken it off the road. Maybe they were worried that they would have to walk instead….
@@NBMedia8928 Road Vehicles Lighting Regulations 1989 section 23 for your reference for when you see your PC mate who wants to shake your hand and be on first name basis with you 😂😂 You've pulled or he will pull you over 🤣🤣
‘I’m not just a police officer, I’m a human being’. Ahh…bless him.’ Hearing that, you should have provided all your personal information and allowed him to abuse you physically, mentally, emotionally and financially. Simple! 😂
This cop is so full of nonsense. He's in uniform, he's on duty & every aspect of his behaviour is formal & totally official. Having been told these guys don't want to provide their names, there is no room for so called courtesies or being social, in order to get info that they clearly don't want to provide. This is fishing, pure & simple, he is desperate to know who has caught him out, with his vehicle fault. It isn't that big of a deal though, any car can pop a bulb or fuse at any time. It should only be an issue if that same vehicle is seen again with the same fault after 24hrs.
He has no intention of getting it seen to, to get it fixed, certainly not that night anyway. Most likely will park it up, say nothing, and let someone else deal with it. Remember, it's not his car, so why would he care?
So, just so I understand this police constable right. He is the one driving around in a defective vehicle. And he wants your name. He won't identify, and he doesn't work at a station. Quality policing.
By 2:30 was fed up with listening to him,all that talk when it’s simple to call people sir or Madame, and the police vehicle should of been taken straight back to the station but guaranteed it wasn’t until his shift was nearly over
THEY DARE NOT CALL A MAN SIR NOW DAYS AT IT CAN GO AGAINST THEM. if the role was reversed and the cop walked up to the car and said sir you have a light out, the (male) driver could have taken offence that the officer got his pronouns wrong. you have just assumed i am a man you called me sir i am very offended, l need your name number and station name i want to make a complaint against you for mis gendering me. so next time a cop calls you sir can you use it against them to get you out of the shit.
Not difficult to carry bulbs ? the problem is could a Copper replace one ffs , From what i have seen of them the answer would be NO because they are all to Fucking THICK.
That vehicle should be taken off the road immediately. One law for us and another for them. Imagine that vehicles in an accident after being told its not fit to be working.
Back in the days of old (yes I'am an old fart LoL) if a cop car pulled you over for anything, if a fault was found on their car they let you off with a warning and got on the radio for a pick up both vehicle and them, many a good time had breaking tail pipes on police cars
He was just performing his civic duty by informing the driver of the defect. The person arguing was the copper, trying to talk about everything but his illegal headlight.

I was given a ticket for a blown bulb. No sympathy from the cop, he even scoffed at me. This policeman should get the same.
How much easier to have said--"..I will go immediately and get it fixed"..QED
It’s illegal to drive that car at night with the light out
