The best lyrics I've heard in a lonnnggg time. Lyrics about having an asthma attack is so true, other than some famous, well known singers talk about heartbreak and romance... not fun at all. This is coming from a 15 year old who has asthma attacks.
It literally says in the song it's anaphylaxis, so it's likely from a sting of sorts

The switch between "I'm having trouble breathing in" and "I'm not that good at breathing in" is absolutely GENIUS. Really speaks to the core of human experience; it's not about individual events, it's never about them, it's always about the dispositions of the systems, be them internal or external, metaphorical or literal. Brilliantly groundbreaking, groundbreakingly brilliant!

People my age (I'm old) like to bitch and moan about how shitty pop music is these days. Nonsense! Best thing I've stumbled onto in a long time.
I'm 47 and I hear people my age constantly complain about how there's no good music out there because all they do is hear how much the Beibers, Rihannas and other manufactured pop is pushed. If they put a little effort in, they'd see that there has been no better time for music. And it's not THAT hard. Don't listen to commercial radio. EVER! The only radio station I do listen to is KEXP. Or check out some music from Brooklyn's Daptone label. If they try both of those sources and can't find anything they like then just kill yourselves.
Yeah I tell people they're not looking hard enough or in the right places if they think there isn't any good new music out there. And like you, I basically only listen to KEXP.

I disagree completely. It’s not what you play but how you play it - Bob Marley, Elvis, Buddy Holly, AC/DC - the list goes on. I’ve heard people rock 3 chords better and with more soul than a Slash solo. But that’s my personal opinion after being in half a dozen bands, playing guitar for 15 years, and going to shows for the past two decades.
