Marvellous performance! A supreme primarius and ensemble. She and the altviolinplayer gives in the counterpart of the melody in second violin and v'cello of the unforgettable Andante so much musical depth!

Delightfully fresh and energetic...and completely self-assured. One or two moments of being off pitch but otherwise a very attractive rendering. More, and soon, please Mr. Chen. (Perhaps your cellist could be lent a different cello for Haydn. She plays beautifully, but the sound of THIS cello is very late-Beethoven in its fullness).

And they remind one of the Borodin quartet, in the depth, finesse, tone and tension of their play- no less the drama, integral to the music, felt intuitively, expressed with fire.

Serious and stunning, very much an ensemble, but they could drop that from their title to make 'Meridian' their mark. With their musicianship, commitment, individual skills and flair, above all the sense of a complete creative body, they look set fair to make Meridian count as a distinctive quartet in a fine, vibrant, humble and noble tradition of service

Surprising to see no comments from 16500 views. Most impressive performance, maybe it is easy to play - or maybe not (as not being a violinist/etc I wouldn't know).
The middle parts might have been better slightly louder, but only slightly, to the point of debatabe (2db?). Maybe the microphone positioning or the instruments.
I guess it's best that Chinese people use western first names as (1) impossible to "spell" Chinese names properly with alphabet (due to need for tone marks), and (2) almost no western people can pronounce the tones anyway. So best just to not try.
