Hello there and friendly greetings! Whoa, thank you so much for these suggestions!! I really learnt something today! Also, can't help noticing from your tshirts that you have amazing musical tastes! Kudos to you!
Hey mate, new subscriber here. Thanks so much for all your videos. They have been so valuable to me as a new streamer. I was wondering if you have any tips for my alerts not working during a live stream. I have watched so many videos and checked everything that is suggested but they still don’t work. I have them setup in Streamlabs and they work perfectly during the testing function but not when I am live!!! Driving me nuts. Thanks
i have had still media in a scene group just not show for some reason...even tho the links were correct and display turned on. the solution (5 mins before on-air) was to make a whole new scene and pull everything in again . Nothing changed ...but it worked again.
Generally, is it better to have my streaming computer hardwired in with Ethernet in order to livestream, or is using a Wi-Fi connection ok too? Would wired or wireless make a difference if it’s a gaming stream?
I've got green screen woes and am pretty sure it's due to not having enough lighting 😢 Have you considered packet shaping for your traffic so you and your wife's work don't compete? Keep up the great content for 2024 🥳
If you're not quite getting the uniform lighting for the green screen to work, I would advice on top of the chroma effect, use the nVidia background removal filter (if you have an nVidia card obviously). It should help make those jittery light spots disappear.
So if a livestream is categorized as unlisted, it’ll broadcast out to yt like normal except my subscribers won’t be able to see it? They won’t be notified? How is this different from a private stream?
Unlisted streams do not notify your subs or TH-cam at large that you are live, but if you provide the link to the unlisted stream to someone, anyone that has the link can see it. Private streams require that you specifically provide permission and share the stream with a user. If they were to share the link it would not view for another user.
your videos are always so quirky and helpful. i really appreciate your content

Can you please do a full review of evmux since they have had several updates since your last review.

Wired is ALWAYS better. Period.
@@kvltst thanks for the info👌 I’ll need an adapter then, since my laptop doesn’t have an Ethernet outlet
@@kvltst any reccs on the type of adapter I should get?
Wired for sure.
Live streaming will be my 2024 goal. Happy new year🔥👍
Awesome!

Unlisted means you can share the link with friends and guests so they can see while testing as well.
@@MichaelFeyrerJr can I change a stream from unlisted to public while it’s still live?
Where's the checklist?
Sorry. here it is drive.google.com/file/d/1p0zhOxJAujR4Kz3iexek-A5AvCObm12m/view?usp=sharing
@@MichaelFeyrerJr Thanks for the checklist and for all you've done to help me get started.
Question: What are the differences between OBS scenes and the alerts in Stream Elements or StreamerBot?
