Okay so this video is OVERDUE! I FINALLY DID IT! Join me in this video as I show you how my hair journey went from beautiful healthy hair, to thing stringy and damaged. As a result, I decided to do the big chop and i'm so excited to be back on my journey to healthy hair! This was such a liberating experience for me and I am so proud of myself!

We are slaves to our hair sometimes, I also cut mine all off, it's a pixie ( I think hahaha). I had it done this week so ...yeah I'm still figuring it out.😂 I don't regret it so far.
But you're still so beautiful. Long hair or shorter hair, you are fantastic, phenomenal, brave and courageous.

When you said your hair was damaged a special kind of way 😂😂😂 same girl, I was going through it too. Bleached the underneath of my hair & it all broke off so I was using the top half to hide the lack of hair on the bottom half & it was so thin & just not it girl so I know your pain. Thankfully mine has all grown back & is almost to my jeans now but wooo was I humbled 😂😂😂
I was definitely humbled too 🤣 I remember trying to do stuff to hide my damage too! lol

Sis i feel you . I texturized my hair back in April and i had that same curly roots straight shaft then curly ends. Ive been cutting it off bit by bit

Yes my bun is my safe space. I can’t cut it to the point of not having my bun. But I do sit in the bathroom and cut like you do. And it feels so liberating ❤. You boyfriend is so nice and sweet in the background ❤
Sometimes we just have to go little by little and that is okay! 🤣🤍🤍 I’ve noticed recently when it comes to me doing trims I feel kind of nervous about it and I’m like how can I be scared now when I literally cut so much off before?! But it’s like that sometimes lol and thank you he’s been very supportive 🤍

This is EXACTLY what happened to me! I only straighten it once a year and my hair ended up a little worse than yours and it was so sad to me so now I’m just gonna cut it ! I’ve tried treatments and masques and everything it’s just straight in some parts with curly ends :(

I definitely know that feeling allllllllll to well but trust me when I say CUT IT OFF! lol free yourself!!!! my hair has made sooo much progress and honestly for some reason i never thought I would be in love with my hair again but it’s happening!! let go of the dead weight 🤍
Meeeeee my hair is doing this exact thing I gave to do my big chop I bleached it randomly and I killed it it’s thin and same just straight pieces

As long as you keep using any type of heat you’ll always be big chopping
I’ve had success in the past with only using heat once or twice a year and with protection! 🥰
