I had to chuckle upon hearing the restaurant in the apple orchard was out of apple cider, what’s with that! Dear Henry was in fine form this video. He makes me laugh out loud. His vocabulary is increasing by the day!
It’s still early, but the tourists buy it up quick.
We thought the same thing. Especially since they had large jugs of apple cider at their market that's just on the other side of the walls of the restaurant. Thanks for your comments about Henry. We wanted to eat there this last visit but each time we thought of it they were close to closing. Definitely have to work it in next time. Glad you guys enjoyed.
It's a really nice drive out to Carver's, the views are great, and the people are friendly. The food is good for the price, but we still prefer the Applewood Farmhouse over Carvers, but it's still worth visiting.

I get exactly where Jennifer is coming from in relation to sweet tea. I think she and I could sit on a porch, chat and down a gallon of good sweet tea. She can have my lemon tho..lol. Those chicken and dumplings look like the ones I love....more of a light biscuit instead of rolled out like noodles. I love roasted peanuts, in all flavors. I am always on the hunt for a new and unique flavor to try. Hope ya'll have a great week ahead and God bless!

I’ve been there and it’s a wonderful place. I don’t know why I don’t go over there more often. It’s like an hour from where I live. Thanks for reminding me! I always go to the quilt shop down the road ina. Log cabin.
Gentry’s attention to detail in the apples and his commentary is so cute! Your children are so smart! They enjoyed the chicken n dumplings. Im going to have to get over there before too long. Don’t want to go at the height of tourist season!

Thanks for the review! Definitely a place I want to visit. Good food at a good price. I'm a creamed potatoes fan, probably because that😢that's what I grew up with. I'm picky about sweet tea as well. My mom made great sweet tea, even though she didn't like tea, but my dad, brother, and I sure went through a lot of it!

Happy Sunday! I really enjoyed this video. Home cooked food and a country atmosphere. Everything looks delicious and the raw peanuts caught my eye. I love to make Cajun boiled peanuts. Everything looked amazing! The scenery was great too! The boys did an excellent job with their reviews! We bring a cooler with ice on our adventures too but I like that yours is made in TN! 🙏❤️

They use to have the Best Turkey and Gravy. Hasn’t been on the menu since Covid unless they have added it back now.

Hi Candace. The Top of the Rock is in Jasper, Tennessee - it's closer to Chattanooga. This video was filmed in Cosby, which is about 20 minutes from Gatlinburg. It's a really nice scenic drive out to Cosby. The mashed potatoes and gravy were amazing. Henry is asleep now, but we will have to ask him tomorrow what his favorite mac and cheese it - that's a really great question. That's very sweet of you. Surprisingly, this restaurant is one of the less expensive ones in the area. Inflation has really been out of control the past several years.

Mountain's are beautiful but they don't compare to the California mountain's.

Brent's brother used to live in California and we always enjoyed visiting. The mountains and topography are amazing!
