Looks like it's only a little over a half hour our of Pigeon Forge. So, not an unreasonable drive. I'd have to go with David's selections. 100% spot-on in my book. Including the dessert. This looks like a neat little place to have an early supper. I wonder what it's like at breakfast? Great video. It's what I needed today. God Bless!

This place is great! I loved it. I was able to try it a couple of weeks ago when I was driving through the area to a business meeting. Well worth the detour from my route. If you ever go back, try the German Chocolate cake. SCRUMPTIOUS!!

Really enjoyed the video today, The owner seemed like a very nice lady. Cindy your chicken hoagie and chips looked very good. I saw at the end that Carly got to see how spicy the chips were lol. David's meal looked especially delicious, lots of gravy and onions on his hamburger steak, like that the potatoes were nice and hot, onion rings seemed very well done too, I agree Carly's meal was a great value for a smaller portion, it would be a regular size anywhere else. Those pieces of cake would be double the size of other restaurants and they looked scrumptious. And all that food for that price was amazing 😊 You guys did another fantastic job today, you pick me and my wife's spirit up when we most need it. Thank you and God bless 🇺🇸🙏
Mark, So glad that you and your wife enjoyed today’s video. The owner and all the employees were all so friendly and kind. It makes you feel so welcome when people treat you like this. Carly also tried some of the hot bbq sauce at Corkys and she made the funniest face. We didn’t put it in the video but it was so funny. We have a long running joke about her biting into a pepper in Arizona. She didn’t believe us on how got it was. So everything gets compared to that pepper. All the food was delicious and some of the most reasonably priced we had on our vacation. The amount of cake choices was unreal! 🍰 Carly and I liked the dreamsicle the best and David liked the strawberry. 🍓 Great experience at Janice’s Diner. Thanks for coming along with us.

I knew David liked his onions, but I didn't realize how much he loved them. To get onions on his hamburger steak, plus to get onion rings as well, says a lot. I would have gone with the mushrooms and gravy, minus the, well you know.... That macaroni and cheese and those desserts look amazing. This is one we'll have to try.
David has to have his mashed potatoes with his hamburger steak and for the second side it will most likely be onion rings or okra. Definitely not too many onions for him. Everything here was so good. Love that it is locally owned restaurant with that family feel to it. The cake selection is one of the biggest I've seen at a diner like this in the country. Y'all definitely should try it out. I just knew the Hamburger Steak, Onion Rings and Mashed Potatoes were David's, he knows a good hamburger steak when he sees one! Now that cake was YUGE for the price! You guys should try "The farmers Daughter" restaurant here in northeast TN. It's about a 30 minute drive off of interstate 81-(exit 23 in TN). Its a home cooking style-menonite ran type place where they bring out 3 meats and tons of different sides and desserts....people come from different states all the time to eat there...i think it would make for an excellent video and its on your way home from pigeon forge! Love the vids.....the views are going up each week! Love to see it! :)

Very cute diner, warm and welcoming. I was hoping you would order the Mounds cake. Maybe next time. Never trust a person who likes spicy food when they tell you something isn’t spicy. I can’t handle spicy food. I like some things to have a bite like my homemade pepper burgers and my Italian sausage soups, but I guarantee Cindy would say they weren’t spicy at all. I have a tender palate. Great review.
