I was fortunate enough to go inside the statue (around my birthday) and it was awesome! If you want to do this yourself, please try and book Crown Reserve Access Tickets from Statue City Cruises as soon as possible, because they sell out months in advance! Let me know in a separate comment if you have any questions, but otherwise share this video and add a like! 😀
Absolutely! A whole day's worth of sightseeing for $25 is amazing, especially when you consider that New York is one of the most expensive cities in the world. (Really expensive!) Definitely worth the money and I recommend this to anyone.
I love the video, especially ellis island. It was the highlight for me when I went to new York, I felt the history in the registry room and that will stay with me.
Yes I totally agree! The Registry room was mega, you can definitely feel the history and importance of the room just by standing there. Thanks for stopping by! :)
I totally recommend it Stuart. I know it is expensive, but you only live once - I think you'll have an amazing time here in the Big Apple. Thanks for your continued support and comments. 🙂
@@UltimateBucketList I thought it would be bigger too. Wanted to do it since I seen Fievel help build it in the cartoon An American Tail when I was a kid. Would love to do it again
@@liamjh81 I remember Fievel - good times! I hope you get to go again soon, but be warned: security there is now incredibly tight (for obvious reasons).
@@UltimateBucketList was like that when me and my Mrs went. Proper airport style security before getting on the boat, we got to the front and this guy infront of us refused to get searched and at one point we thought the police were going to pull a gun out on him to calm him down. Luckily he saw sense and that never happened
Thanks, I appreciate that. 👍 It's quite a lot longer than my London guide as there is A LOT to do in New York. Hopefully you'll enjoy it - it comes out in a few weeks!
Very interesting to see this nowadays ... I was lucky enough to do this trip in the late 90s and I think we got tickets on the morning we visited very easily, no faffing with phones or internet then, obviously security has increased since though. I recall climbing those ever narrowing stairs to the crown and it was a great view from there. I think it would be too claustrophobic for me now though, I couldn't do it. The statue and Ellis island are very interesting and well worth a visit.
Ah, life was simpler back then! Yes, the heavy security definitely slows things down a lot and I can understand why they limit the amount of people that go inside. I've always wanted to go to the crown and visit Ellis Island - I'm glad I did. It was definitely worth the trip!
I’ve done this tour recently Ninh, and if there’s one thing to know, you simply have to book in VERY early in advance. I booked 2 months in advance and all crown and pedestal tickets were sold out. Still a fantastic day out though, especially as somebody whose grandparents passed through Ellis Island to America.
Yes, I totally agree. I got lucky and managed to find just ONE crown ticket for one of the days I was in New York, so I booked it immediately. Really good day out and Ellis Island was surprisingly cool too. Didn't think I'd enjoy it that much, but I did.
the day I visited the statue was covered in fog.....luckily for me the fog gradually disappeared, great way to spend a few hours. I assume u visited Yankee Stadium???
Sea fog is apparently quite common in New York, so lucky that it lifted for you. I did visit Yankee Stadium, but it was closed to the public and thundering with rain - I got a few pictures and video clips and left. You'll see a Citi-Field stadium tour soon enough though.
I can see why you'd say that. I think once you've been before, there's no real reason to go again unless someone else wants to go with you. That said, Ellis Island is definitely worth the trip. I didn't think it would be, but it totally way. :)
Where did the sports rules videos go ☹️ there are still plenty of sports to explain Also it's crazy that i've never gone here, even though i'm american
Yes I'm aware. I'm just really busy travelling, working and even though I've got about 30 scripts written for my 'Ninh Explains' channel, I've struggled to edit a single video. Problem is time mainly. And as an American - this is definitely something you'd love to do! Really really cool experience!

Good video, like it.
I hope you get to visit one day!
Great video certainly worth a visit and at a good price.

Welcome back
Thanks!
I've been back for a while, so hopefully you'll see more videos of me actually doing stuff!
fantastic video i always wanted to go to new york its on my my bucket list
I totally recommend it Stuart.

Done that back in 2018, one of the highlights of my visit to NYC climbing to the top of Lady Liberty
Isn't it cool? I found it quite surreal to be inside the thing, though I did expect it to be bigger inside.

Looking forward to the NYC guide, if it’s half as good as your London one was it will be epic!
Thanks, I appreciate that. 👍

I was in NYC 3 weeks before 9/11.
I went up the WTC after my trip to Liberty Island that day.
Wow, really?! It's cool that you saw the Liberty Island & WTC before 9/11.
Good job it wasn't three weeks after?!
Please do Belgium starting with Brussels and Anderlecht stadium tour after New York.
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Is it just the stadium tours you're after?

She looks better in green, she really does.
I think so too!
It's strange that a quirk of science makes something better than it originally was?!

I was there in 2014. It was worth a visit, but 1 time is enough. I don't like the crowds. Although I did not go to Ellis island.
I can see why you'd say that. I think once you've been before, there's no real reason to go again unless someone else wants to go with you.

@@UltimateBucketList I see. Well have fun on your travels
You should visit the DMZ in Korea between the North and South. Many TH-camrs have done it. Would you? If so, don’t pee off the North Korea guards.
The Koreas aren't exactly high on my list of priorities. I'm sure I'll look into it, but there's better things to spend my money on.
