I've heard that the "Springy Gimbal Thingy" doesn't do well with vigorous movement. (attached to a car might be beyond it's limits).. good luck, I can't wait to see how it turns out Buddy.
Update: I was able to tighten the top on the PGYTEC extension pole.

Of you do the car shot... Suggest get it onto your bumper... A tow hook cam is great if your car has one... But lower will make all the speed better

I wonder the same thing. I do use my ulanzi flexible tripod to do it. But, it's not made for it.

If you can't afford the pocket 3, then I would say 100% the 2 is well worth it.
