I have seen countless videos on acoustic body shapes and wood options, and yours is truly exceptional - no frills or fancy editing, just raw talent and passion for the instrument. I'll definitely share this video with people interested in getting into the acoustic guitar.
Love your music as well. Keep doing what you do Lucas! - A fan from Singapore.

Wow, that’s so nice of you! Your comment really made my day. I eat sleep and breathe Guitar. For me it’s family and Guitar. I’m a pretty simple guy. Haha. Thanks in advance for sharing the video. Every little bit helps the channel out, and again I really appreciate your kind words on the video and the music. Cheers from Canada and stay tuned for more.

It's like Don Ross, Stephen Fearing, Tommy Emmanuel and Michael Hedges came together for a showdown in one episode. Amazing how an artist gets recognised by the type of guitar they favour. Then you have the others (Pat Metheny, Leo Kottke, and yourself?...) who mix up the flavours when need be. The Yamaki always surprises me!

Haha you are way too kind Guy. Yes indeed, I am someone who likes variety in my guitars so I enjoy what the different body shapes offer for different scenarios. At least right now. Haha. Would be cool to eventually become a one or two guitar dude though and only have one acoustic/one electric if ever I could just make up my mind and pick one of each :-) I don’t think that’s happening anytime soon though 🤣

Hey Lucas, great guitar tone Tuesday as always! I'm listening while on vacation on a small Italian island called Procida off the coast of Naples!

Big fan of your voice and guitar skills and songwriting. Just an unsolicited suggestion. Acoustic guitar pickups or how to not get a terrible sound out of your acoustic when looping. IRs?

First off, thank you so much for your kind words on the singing and the playing. I really do appreciate that. Secondly yes, that would be a great concept for a video to go along with the plugged in guitar tone. Maybe we could talk about plugged in Guitar tone and Looping. As for impulse responses, I have never used them personally, although I’ve heard great things. The pickup I prefer doesn’t require them. I am a K and K artist and I’ve been using the system. They make called the quantum Trinity mini for about 10 years now. It has a microphone inside the guitar as well as transducer sensors underneath the bridge plate, not underneath the saddle of the bridge like a typical piezo. This definitely helps to eliminate the wackiness. But all of that said there are things that can be done with any plugged in acoustic guitar to get better sounds when looping, etc., etc. and I’d be happy to talk about that in the future. I’ll keep it in mind.

First song....something of the best I ever have heard. Worked at Warner in 80s, played bass, guitar as child since early 70s....so take my word for it Lucas. Cheers from Sweden. All the best!🤩

Wow, this comment made my day! Thank you so much!! If you wanna listen to it in full, it can be found on all the streaming platforms. The album was called Tearing Up The Rails and it’s the old band name which was Lucas Haneman express. We also put a music video for it out here on TH-cam about six years ago if you type in LH express waiting at your door. Again, I really appreciate that. Sounds like you have a very cool history
