Not only is Lucas so skilled and passionate about so many varied styles of guitar playing, but he gets precise sounds out of guitars I didn’t know were possible. I am entertained and educated by his videos.
Apologies. It’s been a busy week so I haven’t had a chance to reply to anyone yet. I really appreciate that. Comments like yours make creating these videos completely worthwhile. Thank you!
It's such a pleasure to hear a lovely instrument played by a musician of your caliber Lucas. Thanks for taking the time to produce this and share it with us.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that. I enjoy making these videos for all of you, but comments like this make it completely worthwhile when life gets busy and I have to force myself to upload. Lol :-) Thanks as always for watching
Outstanding performance, Lucas, with a fantastic acoustic guitar!... 👏👏👏💪🌈 I'm also waiting for my in-production Eastman E6SS-TC Left-handed to arrive!... your video and music make the wait even more exciting!...😅 Thank you so much!!... 🙏👍🌈
Congrats on the new guitar purchase! If it’s anything like this one I’m sure it’s going to be fantastic! Thanks for the kind words and thanks for watching the video.
I knew you'd eventually get to one of these, had mine for a year or so and it just gets better and better, so glad you like it, it's really cool hearing your own guitar played by a skilled player like yourself, took me a while to come to grips with it as I wasn't used to an acoustic that's so loud and full. I have Daddario nickel bronze 13's on it tuned a 1/2 step down, what a monster 😅
When the store had this one in stock I was super excited to review it. This was actually the first video I shot that day. I was just so curious to give it a try and wow, I was blown away by it. Sounds like you are loving yours. Your comments on being a little overwhelmed by the guitar are ones I have heard from other people as well when they take the leap to their first high end acoustic guitar. I know quite a few people who have gone through this, but at the end of the day isn’t it a great feeling to play an instrument that’s just so powerful and resident? As a player it’s nice because it means we don’t have to work so hard:-). Thanks a bunch for watching and hope you continue to enjoy that Eastman for many years to come!
Hello Lucas, this Eastman guitar has the looks and the open sound of a J-35, the balance of a J-45 und the overtones of a Martin D-18. So, maybe a guitar for the undecided?
Wow, what a deal. Lucky you! I really had a great time demoing this guitar. It was by far my favourite acoustic that I put my hands on that day. Enjoy the new Guitar and let me know how it works out if you get the chance. Thank you for your kind words on the playing! Stay tuned to the channel as I’ve got more Eastman/interesting guitar demos coming up soon.
Cool, definitely loud! I am currently trying to convince myself not to buy a ridiculous electric, but failing miserably every time I hear it in a video. Curse you Collings and your damned Julian Lage signature models! Irritating! I have downsized the collection significantly though and am trying the “less but better” approach to gear. Will report back from the insane asylum on the results.
Oh cool! That is a serious guitar my friend. I have not had a chance to play one yet but have really enjoyed the Collings guitars I have played. Comes with a steep price tag unfortunately but sometimes that’s par for the course. I feel you on pairing down the Arsenal for quality over quantity, but I can’t say I’m quite there yet. My guitar tool kit is by no means out of control considering I do this as a full-time venture and Record a lot. I have some friends who really packed the guitars away LOL, but I certainly could get rid of a few and be just as happy. I will definitely get there someday :-)

Wonderful playing. I haven't heard a better review of the E6SS than this.
Ah thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it

Pretty excited. I picked up one in mint condition on reverb for 750. Gets here Friday.
Your playing is fantastic btw
