None of the yellows for me. Would consider Benjamin Moore Burnt Cinnamon or Aegean Teal with White Dove trim and touches of navy blue accents for either.
I love, love my light yellow in the office. So so cute! Gives me lots of energy and I mean lots of it. Dark colors remind me of movie theaters and raise my melatonin.
Of the colours you mentioned, I like Salamander. Years ago I had a feature wall in my entrance area that I got a custom tint for because at the time I was living in a community that didn’t have a Benjamin Moore dealer nearby, but its colour was very similar to Salamander (they actually put “Jonathon Colour” on the lid of the custom tint, haha). I do agree that black might not be a great colour for an office, seeing as dark colours can be quite reminiscent of night and are not so conducive to energy. As for the replacements, though, I think it depends on your kind of work. If you are doing work that involves colour or graphic design, white may actually be a good choice because it won’t subconsciously close your mind to colour pairings that wouldn’t work with bold colours on the wall. But if you’re doing administrative work, I don’t see how a bright, invigorating colour would do anything but improve your productivity. I know that personally, saturation brings me so much joy and energy that neutrals and beiges just can’t bring. Most of my current place is painted this midtone greige that I’m not allowed to repaint, and it’s such a downer when it comes to working at home. I know with some lightness or brightness I would feel so much more motivated (which is why I don’t work from home anymore!). Thanks for the video, James!
A local bank I frequent has painted the entire back wall of the branch the most hideous yellow. (it's a crappy paint job as well) I noticed this same wall colour in at least one of the personal offices. I find it so off-putting while I'm there for those few minutes. I can't imagine working in that space every day. 🤢
Hi, Can you review BM White Diamond? Painted MBath. Didn't go with Chantilly Lace, as too light. Super White is suppose to be darker than Lace, with no undertone so went with that. Turned out too stark. Wondering what White Diamond is about, as 4 LRV points darker than Super White. Having really hard time with these white colors.
If I’m not mistaken, and I very well could be, I thought white diamond had a blue undertone, slight. But yes, I would love to learn more about this color.

Love Palladian Blue but my home office is SW Worldly Gray which is a wonderful taupe. With Chantilly Lace trim and ceiling

Gray is depressing ANY where. I don’t want it in my house either!
