Amazing how this started out as a campy corny story to Alan Moore bringing layers and depth to the character making him feel way more real! As in todays terms i should mean! Great job Danny!
What a Grimmly, Wacky, Symbolic Surrealistic and Wonderfull Beautiful Volume!! Neat plots, Characters crossovers and Revelations Twists!! I cant wait to see what dangers are to come and More!!
I have 3 favorite running series of all time: Teen Titans from Wolfman & Perez, X-Men from Claremont (& Byrne when apply) up to Brood War and Swamp Thing from Moore, Totleben and Bissette.
I read Sandman first. Reading Alan Moore's Swamp Thing now, I find it really interesting noticing how influenced Neil Gaiman was by this Swamp Thing run. Cain & Abel, How Abby forgets her dream, Etrigan and Hell, John Constantine. I feel like Neil carried all those through into Sandman from here.
@@dannymaltCan you imagine how wild the planned Swamp Thing run by Neil Gaiman would have been. If you're unaware, Neil Gaiman was slated to.take over writing Swamp Thing after Rick Veitch, but stepped down in support of Veitch following the final issues controversy that led to Veitch's sudden removal from the title.
Sorry you are not digging it. Alan Moore's run ends at volume 6, so just a few more weeks. Personally I'm enjoying this trip into Swamp Thing, and seeing how it influenced Sandman and sets up John Constantine.

Man, poor Matt lol. Started off as a super cool special agent, ends up a skin suit.
Eventually he becomes The Sandman's Raven in the Dreaming. Such a character journey!
Wait what? Matt Raven is Matt cable. I did not see this coming, wow
I love the new way you edited this vid with moving panels

This is the best time for swamp thing
I kinda like there was hint of the dreaming in swamp thing.
Oh also the fact that The Sandman also goes to hell to retrieve his helmet and also met with etrigan.

I wrote a paper in a linguistics class on Pog in college
Since you're still on Alan Moore maybe once you're done with the swamp thing how about you do his one book v for vendetta.
I think one day I would like to go through that book, as well as Alan Moore's other main titles.
When I was younger, I used to think this is such a really good artwork. Now I see it’s very very sloppy.
can you please make a video on Monstress or Middlewest
Im not fan of swamp thing but the story is pretty solid
Can you do I hate fairy land next
I might cover that soon, lots of requests for it.

"Totleben" is a pretty weird name.
It's the combination of two German words:
"Tot" which means "death"
&
"Leben" which means "life" 🧐
Anybody else notice "Down Amongst the Dean Men" comic is a lot like "Wizard of Oz"?
Credit the artists !!!
Or don't show the art.
I do at 0:42
"Promo SM"
No more swampthing please!
I don't know what your problem with this series is. Just let him finish the run. It might lead to other equally great things down the line.
