Thank you for telling me about the laser Cannon. I've seen people use it but never understood why. I've been trying to use Heavy MG just because I wanted to try something knew and liked it a lot but I must admit, needing to take a supply pack was kinda annoying.
I credit your videos with finally convincing me of the value of smoke grenades and smoke stratagems. Also, the ammo squeeze on the Scorcher is so real, and so very painful. It ended up convincing me to switch back to the JAR-5.
Yeah! Speaking of Scorcher, i think scorcher, supply pack, AMR/railgun/laser cannon, eagle smoke, eagle strike is really good too. It's hard to pick between eagle smoke and orbital precision, I guess take it based on your personal taste :D
Love the video! Personally I'd use the HMG instead of smoke and Diligence Counter sniper instead of Scorcher, then EMS, Autogun and Air Strike. HMG trivializes pretty much all bot types except the strider, and it actually protects from some of the incoming fire and you can do really efficient priority targeting, better than turrets by far. I've cleared entire waves while my team takes the objective with the HMG and the occasional EMS strike (instead of the precision strike) to guard my rear or one side of the engagement while I clear out the other. DCS helps me drop the small bots from a distance and can still headshot the bigger ones. Autogun takes out the big guys and the gun ships. Air strike cause... air strike. Though, I'll admit berserkers are particularly annoying. Three shots from autogun is pretty expensive in a fire fight. EMS strike/stun grenade + Air Strike helps though.
@@rjmdraco2592 hmg emplacement? Yeah i've been experimenting with it just today on 9s, it's awesome! B-27 enforcer plus the energy shield is amazing against bots. The upped armor on the B-27 and explosive resistance is already great and adding a shield on it makes it next level. @@armstronggaming8566 I actually made little "routes" to run to quickly and efficiently kill bases! For most of the ones I run, I prefer autocannon because it pops fabs faster while having a bunch more ammo. @@IntrusiveThot420 I generally try to run a support/heavy killer loadout with a purifier, grenade pistol, impacts, any armour with the servo assisted perk, spear, orbital railcannon, 500kg and 1 other stratagem slot that is open to anything (I usually take the HMG emplacement). @@armstronggaming8566 i definitely agree that the spear does some stuff better than the AC! It can kill fabs from way further away at any angle. I use Plasma Punisher + Senator + Stun grenade with heavy fortified armor for my main loadout and it seems to work pretty well. Orbital Gatling is great for bot drops or softening up small outposts, while Orbital Walking is amazing for pushing through tough/big bases. Eagle choice helps cover whatever weakness my support weapon has, usually against tanks and turrets/fabricators
That's an excellent loadout. Have you considered dropping stun grenades for smoke when you run Spear? Usually i find saving stuns for hulks to be kind of important. But Spear makes that pretty much pointless! So you can role compress like a metagaming gremlin and sneak in smokes.
