Thanks, Mike, for shooting the video at Cooper River Park. It was my favorite spot for recreation while growing up in Pennsauken 50 years ago. As you undoubtedly know, Subaru has their headquarters on the site of the Latin Casino, where I took my high school girlfriend Jamie to see the Temptations and also for her senior prom. Jay Leno later did standup there. Jamie and I took a test ride in a 360 in 1968 at a dealer on City Avenue in Philly.. The salesman asked me if I was old enough to buy a car. I didn't know, so I said "Yes" and we all went for a spin. He drove. The car was fine for the city, but was underpowered for anything else, so much so that New Jersey banned it for use in their state, as I recall. Now, my wife Roz bought a 2010 Outback which she loves. Subaru has come a long way!
I have one of these! a 1967 Rabbit Touring 150. The front forks got bent in a crash 28 years ago so it's been in my shed ever since. I need to either get the forks bent straight or find a replacement. I need a wiring loom diagram too as I wish to strip it all down and powder coat the frame.
I owned both! Subaru 360 and a Touring 150. The Rabbit was so well engineered, quality material all around. So sad about the parts availability and as such very rare save for the dedicated clubs.
Ive got a fuji rabbit touring 150 1963 and looking for parts, especially the plastic parts. if anyone know where to get them, all around the world pls comment me.
