the time it takes to get tacky can be from 10 minutes to 2 hrs, depending on the contact cement. any time after that you can put the pieces together and trim right away

Hi, can this be used for car headliners? I’m wondering about the non flammable version.

Nothing I can see here on the non-flammable product. Why? That's the one I want to use! Does it even work?

My late husband would use it on his "rubbers". Never had a problem with it slipping off when it got "moist" or when he the "shrinkage factor" happened! ! ! !
    What a man he was!

Great tip to turn off the pilot of the hot water heater when working with glues. What about the table lamp? If someone tripped on the cord, knocked over the lamp, broke the bulb, there's gonna' be a mushroom cloud... DIY projects are extremely dangerous, lol.

@@ruseventyfour2948 Ah! I forgot about electrostatic discharge. Probably best to also remove your clothes and any carpet in the room to avoid self immolation. Joking aside, DAP is an awesome glue. It's cheap, easy to work with, and strong as hell if you apply it right. It's cheap too, and inexpensive!

Can it work like fiberglass....i want to make a parabola out of mylar by blowing it like a bubble, then apply something that will harden to it, to make a parabolic mirror. I'm thinking a thick ass layer of crazy ass glue like this but something like bondo seems better
