Sparky's one of my favorite cards, but oh the irony of the devs saying "It's not a fun card to lose to" while facilitating the most unfun interaction in the game of having your sparky full countered by a dumb lil electro dude. It goes against the whole design of the card, it's the electricity cannon on wheels, how does a tiny little zap ruin it's charge? It should power UP from getting zapped, not down. Perhaps when zapped it could shoot out a less powerful partially charged shot, and when frozen it shouldn't power all the way down, it should just pause its charging.
If it wasnt for sparky existence, pretty sure EWiz would be burning on the lowest of the usage rate, for me lil sparky “zappies” are just objectly better and more fun, and is a counter to sparky but if youre the sparky player YOU CAN DO SOMETHING. Ill wonder if the world would be happier if EWiz didnt exist. If you didnt guess yeah i HATE EWiz, I HATE EWIZ WITH BURNING PASSION and i refuse to use him, i dont get why he is a good card, in fact I DONT KNOW WHY HE IS A USABLE CARD, someone out there how plays EWiz expling i dont get it.

If they rework sparky they could make it cost more to balance out, or make it deal less damage. Honestly I think the odd thing about ewiz is that they missed the opportunity for him to deal double damage to single targets and split damage to 2 targets, since his visuals seem to indicate that being the case, but not actually being the result. Buff sparky and ewiz at the same time and make them friends instead of enemies.

Resident Sparky user here. There was a pretty recent cosmetic bug. From like September 2023 to a few months ago, the charge sound was messed up and wouldnt increase in pitch over time. I kept mentioning it in player feedback over and over again. I like to think I'm the reason they fixed it since nobody else is enough of a weirdo to notice or care about something so small like that.
Man, now that I think about it, Frank and Sparky are very similar. Both have insanely high stats in some regard, both have slow ass attacks, and both suffer from crowd control more than any other troop/brawler in their respective games.
Also both have an insane number of counters in their respective games. A bunch of eletric cards in clash royale, and a bunch of knockback brawlers in brawl stars. Those guys have it rough, Jesus

I feel like Sparky is a card that's supposed to work well with a PEKKA or a Golem but it just doesn't work. The most use I have gotten out of Sparky is putting in every single electricity based card with Electro Wizard, Zappies, Zap, Lightning, and Tesla and that works better than anything else I tried
As someone who plays Sparky + Hog like a religion (and cannot climb above royal champ using it) I can confirm Sparky does not work in my deck. But man do I love playing her.
i remember when i and people in my class were playing this game back in middle school. even though we didn't have a real concept of the meta, everyone knew how to counter Sparky (you were called crazy not to run Skeleton army and Zap in every deck), but it was still considered an important threat and many people used it, mainly because it *felt* strong. the few times you couldn't deal with it it basically lost you the game, and many people were running it on the off-chance their opponent uses their answers and they can get a princess tower for 6 mana. then electro-sorcerer came out.
Sparky should be the first legendary to get an evolution, maybe like the wizard where she gets a small shield that prevents her from being stunned until it is destroyed or have a stun associated with her attack, maybe a 1.5 second or 1 second stun
I think she should have a cooldown shield. She can survive two stuns, but if E-Wiz + another stunner hit her, she can’t do anything. Her own zap should be a pulse effect after she blasts an opponent, like the Tesla’s radius. That way, she can blast part of a surrounding Skarmy, but the pulse kills the rest.
@@Sean-qg3gg it would be cool is she had a chain stun, like a combination of the Evo ice spirit and the electro spirit. Every 2 or so seconds a shockwave would get sent out on a troop she hit stunning all troops, friendlies included, for .5 seconds, the stun would not affect sparkys though. Or a cool idea, reduce her health but increase her damage as an evolution, and makes stuns overcharge her for 1 second and make her immune to stuns. The overcharge would give her +25% damage boost, but also have -15% health. That way it gives a new effect to evolutions and there could be a downside to playing this evolution. A problem with this idea is that it would be too matchup dependent and nothing like this probably won't get added
my suggestion is 15% damage boost and allow her to charge two attacks at once (which would mean she have to be stunned twice for it to fully reset), allowing it to immediately fire after the first shot. this counter cards that have shields like guards and Evo-wizard, tanks which would require less time to kill, most stun cards (except freeze because the pause is too long and Zappies because they hit thrice at once) and allows to clear up swarms slightly better incase sparky missed a swarm member the first time

For Sparky's evolution, have an opposite effect where when it comes in contact with electric related skills, like ewiz or tesla, fully charge up the Sparky and allow it to keep an extra charge.
Sparky is my favorite legendary card, as she was my first. I still use her in my main deck, in wich I built to work as a "7 cards deck", to make the opponent not notice that there's a card that was not placed.... Until the last 60 seconds, when I start placing Sparky, catching the opponent off guard since they didn't saw a Sparky until this moment. The "surprise factor" make the deck work at least 65% of the times, which is good enough for me.

It sounds like the easiest buff would have been instead of resetting het attack they could cause it's charge to pause, so if it's fully charged it stills gets off an attack, but if it's not it probably won't by the time it's killed.
Never played Clash Royal, but going through this, I'd just like to toss my hat in the ring for balance. Stun locking Sparky should remain, it does reward certain counter play, but what I would suggest is to give Sparky 2 fire modes. Her normal charge up attack, as shown in the base game, and a new attack form I would dub "overload". Basically Sparky would remain stunned by certain cards, freeze and such, but electrical cards would swithc Sparky's fire mode from normal to Overloaded for the next attack. When she enters overloaded attack mode, her next attack occurs immediately, but this attack is reduced to a quarter of the damage, and immediately hits her target, however, an AOE centered on Sparky also occurs, for a quarter of her attack damage, damaging both Sparky herself, and any troops around her, friend or foe. If Sparky does not have a target, the AOE centered on her does half damage instead of a quarter. The idea is to take Sparky, and amplify the "glass cannon" and "electricity" aspects of the card. It would mean attempting to counter her with electrical units and spells would be more interesting, as doing so may cause her to attack more quickly, but also damage any supporting troops like Goblin Giant. You would also have the ability to stun her through more normal means. For players of Sparky, it forces a delema of sending a low health Glass cannon unsupport against the enemy, or risk putting more troops to support her, at the risk of Sparky damaging or killing those troops. It would also mean that many enemies would be a lot less able to get away unscathed from Sparky through simply being able to electrocute her. But, like I said, I don't play the game, I just want to toss out balance ideas because speculation is fun.

The sparky was the second legendary I got. I loved it and used it in every deck I played. Once I made a sparky double prince I never made another deck again and still use it today
30:14 oh dont worry, the infinite range glitch still exists, maybe it was patched and just resurfaced recently, but I logged a sparky and she still shot the tower, it lost me the match as well lol

My idea for a sparky evo would be give each charge its own weaker shot but it gets three shots (kinda like dagger duchess) and each charge takes longer.
Being a fan of sparky from day one, and her being my first Legendary, I can say that the time where the meta was either electrowizard either logbait with rocket was incredibly painful
So i think i stopped playing in 2019-2020 but i always found it weird sparky reset on electricity hits, its a legendary give it a legendary ability besides recoil. If it gets hit by an electricity hit let it charge a bit faster (maybe 0.5 seconds) or make it move faster after getring hit, maybe even cause an electric aoe around sparkie which may cause the opponent to think twice before zapping else he will basically hit his own troops
Back in the day she is decent though, only zap, lightning and rocket are there to full counter her unless it's 2.6 skeleton + fire spirit. . But when Electro Wiz was introduced she is like half-gone. Sparky available from arena 6+ and EWiz got introduced on arena 4 was crazy enough. . Sparky evo : can't be disrupt the charge up by any stun status, would still be fine imo. Nowadays we has so many way to counter her.
I used a deck that didn’t protect sparky that much but gave the enemy too many options for spell stun and it turned out pretty successful. Skele army Goblin barrel Minion army Wizard Fireball And mini pekka Dont ask me how but this deck won me at least 7/10 of my games

I've always found the Sparky quite charming, and tbh I've had an idea for this card A book called "The Little Sparky Who Could" which is a spin on "The Little Train Who Could" but with Clash Royale. Sparky tries and tries to reach the princess tower but she keeps getting stunned and taken out during her charge, with the story ending with her getting a hit on the tower and then dying. The message being "You don't have to do everything, you just gotta prove you can do something."

When she enters overloaded attack mode, her next attack occurs immediately, but this attack is reduced to a quarter of the damage, and immediately hits her target, however, an AOE centered on Sparky also occurs, for a quarter of her attack damage, damaging both Sparky herself, and any troops around her, friend or foe. If Sparky does not have a target, the AOE centered on her does half damage instead of a quarter.
The idea is to take Sparky, and amplify the "glass cannon" and "electricity" aspects of the card. It would mean attempting to counter her with electrical units and spells would be more interesting, as doing so may cause her to attack more quickly, but also damage any supporting troops like Goblin Giant. You would also have the ability to stun her through more normal means. For players of Sparky, it forces a delema of sending a low health Glass cannon unsupport against the enemy, or risk putting more troops to support her, at the risk of Sparky damaging or killing those troops. It would also mean that many enemies would be a lot less able to get away unscathed from Sparky through simply being able to electrocute her.
But, like I said, I don't play the game, I just want to toss out balance ideas because speculation is fun.
My guess for an Evo Sparky is that her shots become so powerful, that it casts a mini Lighting on its splash radius

The sparky was the second legendary I got. I loved it and used it in every deck I played. Once I made a sparky double prince I never made another deck again and still use it today
one big change u missed is the addition of the log, which was favoured over zap, thus giving sparky an indirect meta buff
Next will be Skeletons, Graveyard, either the building or the spell or Arrows.

30:14 oh dont worry, the infinite range glitch still exists, maybe it was patched and just resurfaced recently, but I logged a sparky and she still shot the tower, it lost me the match as well lol

Being a fan of sparky from day one, and her being my first Legendary, I can say that the time where the meta was either electrowizard either logbait with rocket was incredibly painful
So i think i stopped playing in 2019-2020 but i always found it weird sparky reset on electricity hits, its a legendary give it a legendary ability besides recoil. If it gets hit by an electricity hit let it charge a bit faster (maybe 0.5 seconds) or make it move faster after getring hit, maybe even cause an electric aoe around sparkie which may cause the opponent to think twice before zapping else he will basically hit his own troops

Back in the day she is decent though, only zap, lightning and rocket are there to full counter her unless it's 2.6 skeleton + fire spirit.

But when Electro Wiz was introduced she is like half-gone. Sparky available from arena 6+ and EWiz got introduced on arena 4 was crazy enough.

Sparky evo : can't be disrupt the charge up by any stun status, would still be fine imo. Nowadays we has so many way to counter her.

I used a deck that didn’t protect sparky that much but gave the enemy too many options for spell stun and it turned out pretty successful.

I've always found the Sparky quite charming, and tbh I've had an idea for this card
A book called "The Little Sparky Who Could" which is a spin on "The Little Train Who Could" but with Clash Royale.
Sparky tries and tries to reach the princess tower but she keeps getting stunned and taken out during her charge, with the story ending with her getting a hit on the tower and then dying. The message being "You don't have to do everything, you just gotta prove you can do something."
The biggest joke is us players who are still playing this game and buy the diamond pass 😭😭😭
