I know this is an old video but I'm a Soarin' CM in DL and it's pretty much the same as you described, except we only have two theatres (which sucks during refurb). Enjoyed the video a lot!
That is so awesome that you worked there!! I am really interested on how it goes up and down like the mechanics of the ride. What does the cast member in the Tower do?
Great questions! The person who sits in tower (the ride control position) is essentially just there to press go and watch the cameras during the ride. You’re lifted into the air basically by a long arm. Picture a horizontal arm with 3 rows hanging off it from back to front. When the ride starts, the “arm” lifts up to become vertical and the “back” row becomes the bottom, while the “front” row becomes the top. It’s kind of hard to explain so I hope that made some sense lol. You could probably find some videos on here that explain it in a bit more depth! I know there’s a channel that goes into detail about the engineering of a lot of Disney rides, just not sure what it’s called!

That’s cool!
Hey girl! Loved the video, this was super helpful. My first day of training at Soarin’ is tomorrow and this really helped ease my nerves! ✨
Oh I’m so happy it helped! Hope you love Soarin as much as I did 😊

So cool! I've been on it a lot. I even made a mini model of it in my because I am trying to figure out the mechanics of it.
Camryn Gleason that’s incredible!
You should do a video on the Disney look! Girl, how’d you cover your tattoo?
Pia Vergara great idea! And I was lucky enough to have a costume that covered me from wrist to ankles haha
How do you get a job at Disney ride operation? This is my dream ride to work on 🥺
I would love to work at Soarin’ as well!
