- Our trip to Missouri is still going strong when I get a beautiful surprise, a visit from my grandbabies! This vlog has me talking about everything from military bases to caring for the babies.

Both my kids have had a T&A. One at the age of 2 years old and one at 3 years of age. What I have learned is that a strep test doesn’t alway show positive right away. On time in the span of 3 to 4 day my daughter had a doctor’s appointment, urgent care and finally the ER. The ER day was when the test was positive. I was sent home THREE times!!!! With all the co pays to pay!!!!! So day three seems to be the magic day when her test would show positive. I knew she was getting it but they just went by the test.I would wait three days but I was prepared and ready with all things to make her feel better, day three roll around and sure enough she had strep throat. She finally had a T&A and is now 21 years old.❤ my baby boy’s was so bad they gave him a T&A at age two when they typically didn’t do it until 3 years of age. He is now 14. All is well. They had it once since then but that was during you know, when that stuff was getting everyone sick.

Peggy, I have my first and only grandchild at 60 and I understand when they’re sick And you see what you see that’s some kind of emotion and I’ll leave it at that but I know how you feel when they come to visit and they’re not their bubbly self. Enough said…God bless you and enjoy yourgrandkids🥰🙏🏼

My brother would make sure he went to my mom house on Fridays with my nephew, and he knew that my nephew would want to stay with my mother and sister. Mama couldn't say no, so he would get out of keeping my nephew until Sunday, and Mama would cook a big dinner on Sunday. So when he picked up my nephew , they had a blast over the weekend. What I'm saying is your son knew the baby was sick he should have canceled all plans and focused on her getting better, but he knew you would save the day and that's exactly what you did. Some people take advantage of folks just like my brother did my mom. Mama has stopped all that now

Yes pegi ive had to deal with that but the "grandmommy" in me would address it with my child vs the opposite parent so now it's better. I do understand its a grandmommies burden but God is faithful.
I need to hear the ID story from Donald's perspective. 😂 I remember being in standstill traffic trying to get to work on base because someone tried to rush the gate. They really don't play.

Pegi you be have me hollering with your stories 😂😂😂😅😅, I was stationed in Maryland and spent a lot of time on Fort Meade, and they don't be playing around those parts.😊. Tell Don to take it easy..and try ice packs they help alot.

Pegi I have a similar story when we were stationed at Barksdale Air Force Base Louisiana. Barksdale is a strategic air command base and my husband worked in nuclear weapons. I called myself surprising him with lunch one day and walked up to the gate, only to be met with four soldiers surrounding me with assault weapons. Apparently I was a little too close to the silos where the nukes were housed, but I had no clue. Scared the crap out of me 😂 I learned my lesson that day.

Not only did we drink from our hose, we drank from any near by hose....and it wasn't a big deal. No one said anything. It was a unsaid rule. You hot you drink no questions asked. 😅😂

I still use public fountains. We drank from the hose on South Jersey too.
I accidentally was on the line to get into the military base, I told him I needed to turn around he asked 5 minutes later they let me turn around
