Happy New Year to you as well! I really appreciate you checking out the video! (And I'm glad you like the Pennsy heritage! I'm aways delighted to see that one)
What a great, action packed video!! I really enjoyed this one bro, Trenton on a cloudy Sunday morning looks like a great time. Incredible catch on 4636 departing as well! Great stuff all around homie!
Terrific video -- Trenton was and is a great train spotting location w/easy access to NY and Phillie. For more adventure take the River Line all the way to Camden. Really impressed by the videography -- sometimes an overcast day makes for best RR footage. Bravo!
Thank you so much for the generously kind words! It means a lot to hear such positive feedback, especially given how much time and effort I invest into making these videos. It's deeply appreciated, my friend - I'm so glad you enjoyed. P.S. I love the RiverLINE! Coincidentally I have a big video in the works regarding that line - hopefully finishing that up soon! Thank you again, have a Happy New Year!

I was so worried for them for a minute! There's lot of fences they can slip through around the station, I always worry for their safety. There's a great organization called Trenton Cats Rescue that does amazing work for the benefit of Trenton's cats, though, so that's reassuring!
Cannot agree more! I had no idea it was even in service on this line. I heard them call Amtrak for permission out of the yard at Morrisville with 4636 as the leader and I nearly lost it! It was a great surprise. Thank you so much for watching and for the comment!
I wanted to set up where I wouldn't be in anyone's way and where I wouldn't have many trains stopping directly in front of me. Further, the two westernmost ends of the main platforms are currently closed (as can be seen in some of the telephoto shots), so I had no option for filming from that end anyway. I could've technically filmed SEPTA action from their side of this same platform, but it was bitterly cold on this day and by keeping my camera adjustments to a minimum I was able to preserve some warmth. I hope you enjoyed the video despite the lack of SEPTA coverage.
This station has great potential being the terminus for NJ Transit into NYC, Septa into Philly, and Amtrak averaging 1-2 trains an hour. Hopefully, Amtrak will improve frequency and consistency once the 2 new Hudson River tunnels are completed and the existing 2 have been rehabilitated, doubling the existing capacity. That said, the city of Trenton does a terrible job integrating it into the fabric of the city. Unlike Camden, Trenton has no transportation center for all the buses that stop here. It’s also surrounded by car centered development and separated from the downtown area by a freeway. If Trenton was smart, it would abolish minimum parking mandates and rezone the area for transit oriented development, but Trenton sucks at city planning.
I couldn't agree more with everything you said! Trenton Transit Center could be an incredible hub for the city and for the region if meaningful investments were made into it. I have a deep love for the city of Trenton as a whole and believe there's limitless potential for it to be one of the best cities on the entire east coast. There are so many things to love about it, it just needs some TLC! Thank you so much for watching and for taking the time to share your insightful comment. Have a Happy New Year!
Excellent thank you.
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for watching!
Superb camera shorts here.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate the kind words!
Awesome video! I loved seeing the Pennsy heritage unit, also. Happy New Year

Awesome video and enjoyed watching. Cool catches and have a great upcoming weekend.(Steve)
Thank you so much, Steve! I really appreciate it! The same to you, my friend!
Goodness, those catenary supports, if not the wiring itself, must date from Pennsy days
And that is correct
The supports will last forever.

Why didn't you show the SEPTA trains that run south to PA and Phila?
Likely out of inconvenience… his camera was set up at the east end (north) of the platform rather than the west end(south)
